    bbc 12:58 update was fantastic ramp alert 5pm kick off time for Bedfordshire 5:30 for north of london and 5cm widley mentioned plus could be alot more

    I remember a few 80's snowfalls that started off light rain then turned to heavy snow and settled rapidly half an hour later

    The metoffice updated warnings are very interesting higher risk and mentions distruptions so no amounts yet so there either waiting a little nearer the time as some places might get a dump

    Id expect the metoffice to upgrade there warning for us this morning with snow amounts included :-) fantastic upgrade

    best charts of the winter so far and not in FI land its been along month of model watching since late nov lots of ups and downs now please ECM gives us what most of us are addicted to the WHITE stuff

    One can not grumble at whats been shown from the models atm for 6/7 days time a very cold NW with snow showers effecting most the uk Id bank that right now

    So the gfs 12z gets the punters back in ! I do think this time the garden path is leading us the way there this time after the last failed northerly broke our hearts .like some others have said it does look feasible ECM hopefully backs the gfs
