  1. two bands of showers with thunder is developing in NE France, one north of Paris and one in the Lille/Saint-Quentin/Amiens triangle which are hopefully heading for us. and then there are the channel storms which are hitting the south-west coast as well, so plenty to keep your eyes on!
  2. a warm and dry start with a dominant easterly, but the Atlantic finally breaking through mid-month and persisting until the last few days of May 12.0C
  3. Don't rule it out as the odd stray shower could cross from Belgium into Kent if it makes it over but Eastbourne westwards into the SW looks good for some connective activity later on maybe! good luck people
  4. Abundant hazy warm sunshine with a slight breeze. Current Temperature: 20.6C DP: 12C Humidity: 45% Pressure: 1004mb (steady) Wind: 7.4 km/h
  5. Sorry guys but I gotta leave I saw some sheet lightning and heard a couple of light rumbles in a light T-Storm, so I'm out of the club.
  6. sheet lightning earlier and temps above 18C for over 2 weeks? still april? but yeah there would be more punch in those t-storms
  7. Storms just north of me on the south downs, enjoying tonight
  8. yeah I just saw one large flash! more connective activity in the channel as well.
  9. Thanks man, don't worry in summer when the winds change to a humid southerly/south-westerly after a warm spell (if it happens) they'll get you instead
  10. some nice rumbles a couple of flashes and one little fork, good stuff this has been a perfect April!
  11. wonder if there will be any action in Brighton & Hove anyway
  12. indeed, rain's still dramatic anyway, if it's intense enough.
  13. I know why can't we just be joined with France we''d be a much better country! and no channel to moderate/kill t-storms
  14. http://www.meteox.com/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=satradar
  15. c'mon man the storm/rain is still a good 35miles south-east of you, at least wait till it's almost over you then give up if still nothing!
  16. And like someone said about an hour ago, as they move across sussex/kent land they could re-develop (could) they likely won't though. u
  17. Move to France with me, they get proper storms we can go storm chasing lol
  18. For me, I don't really want rain so my grass can go boring green again, I just want to see some drama whether it be T-Storms or Heavy Rain
  19. That Meteogroup radar is fantastic, good find it clearly shows the storms advancing over dieppe/calais area heading for the south east corner, just don't kill it off channel please
  20. Keep your eye on the Rain/Thunder band in Saint-Quentin/Amiens area of NE France, that looks like it's heading our way unless it fizzles out or the wind changes direction, so it could be stormy later on!
  21. not sure it will thunder today but if it does it will either be a French/Benelux import or a homegrown shower, at least the temperatures are fairly high though, at 19.4C here, although humidity is quite low at 38% but there's plenty of time for a storm to come if it does!
  22. That's happening here, there are cracks in a lot of the soil and the grass is quite thin as it hasn't rained here since April 5th.
