  1. about time too temp now 0.7c dp-1.9c better than nothing i suppose doesnt look a long lived shower to me sadly
  2. beaten by the better team and beaten by an easterly with too much of a southerly element to it bring me a north nor easterly any day
  3. its still dropping -2.4c now temp levelling off at 1.2c the radars at its best too and all i can see is a flake in the wind
  4. fed up looking at the radar now temp on way up too 1.2c but dp-2.2c dropping we must get hit eventually
  5. well the v6 is stirring back to life i saw it at 23;45 then it went back to 22;30 hope its on its way back moderate snow now lying in west end aberdeen radar back on track hurray lamp post watching on a main street aint easy neighbours might think im a peeping tom lol
  6. proper snow up in rosemount area didnt get the soft hail wish those temps would drop though dp-4c but rising slowly
  7. i know what you mean but thankfully the colder uppers are edging back in slowly now
  8. really want to see that wind swing to more of a nor/nor/easterly for us here, too much of a fetch with the present east south easterly that we presently have the joys of being a coastal location i suppose
  9. rosemount part of city starting to cover over again with moderate snow falling hope it stays as snow on the coast thats always a good thing
  10. thats the fun with aberdeen snow watching lol ive seen rain at footdee and 3c 3 miles up to sheddocksley its a foot of snow and 0c
  11. snow on the the high parts of aberdeen now still a rain/snow mix in the city itself
  12. i went further inland monymusk had a good two inches of level snow and snowing lightly this morning as i type another shower with good sized flakes starts
  13. light snow in aberdeen --2c nice surprise thought the slow nature off the snowband would have allowed the usual east coast temps to rise but thankfully no east wind to spoil things
  14. light hail falling in the west end of aberdeen giving the surfaces a slight dusting
  15. snow showers given a nice light covering in my area of the city have to admit id thought it would stay as rain or sleet here pleasant surprise..i think the next two weeks may well be very interesting a lovely cold pooling gathering to our north east lets hope we can tap into it
  16. wetshill is a mere 7.5 miles from aberdeen but gets very impressive falls of snow compared to us in aberdeen elevation and that extra few miles from the sea are key..
  17. a good inch of snow lying in my part of aberdeen id imagine a fair bit more inland from me and still fallng
  18. heavy snow in aberdeen giving everything including roads and pavements a good covering, think the v6 radar playing up its only showing blue over here when i can see heavy snow falling technology lol
  19. think Aberdeens luck with snow can be summed up by the fact more snow has fallen on the Algerian coast than here in the city this winter,
  20. nice big flakes falling in the rosemount area must admit i thought it would be sleet at best but wet big flakes better than the zip weve had hear of late.at last a dusting of snow in aberdeen its nice to at last join the paty
  21. ive got 967 in the city now 930 would be interesting.wonder if we,ll see any of the snow tonight ive a feeling it may be north of the city that see,s it?
  22. your lowest pressure must be beaten today? dyce at 4pm was 969 and still falling
  23. id take any headlines from sky with a pinch of salt, yes there has been rain but nothing more than average and that was after a very dry spell, the heavy rain forecast for monday has been downgraded to light now and of a patchy nature, given some sunshine and a drying breeze the main areas of trafficking should hopefully firm up again, what we dont want to see is a heavy shower on wednesday when the vast majority will arrive,im praying the chance of thundery activity on wednesday goes, thereafter with the high making inroads the showers will die away thursday leaving a pleasant though not spectacularly warm friday to sunday.i,ll be arriving early wednesday evening until then keep off the grass whatever the weather i hope everyone going has a wonderfull time,i,ll be found at the cider bus if you spot me please be kind enough to carry me back to my tipi... this will be my 5th glastonbury survived the 2005 flood, the miserable 2007, the muggy thundery 2009 and the hot hot hot 2010 the one thing that stays constant is the great spirit of all who attend.
