Snow certainly accumulating in Aberdeen now could be a few tricky roads inland before it stops -
cars and pavements covering over in a wet snow T0.8C and 0c dp its been a temperature rollercoaster all evening here,the joys of low elevation and too close to the sea,now up to 1.4 ,1c dp

just think what a 2c drop in both would have brought us with the streamer reaching from just off wick to well south east of Aberdeen ,mind you the way things have gone this winter it would have taken the bypass route lol,,nice big flakes falling now T4c 2c dp at 19 .00hrs now 1.4c and 0c dp at 19,45 hopefully the colder air finally digging in now

the slack flow certainly works in our favour at these times im never a fan of a south east wind here in winter give me a north north east flow everytime.

agreed with the others to the south east this ones heading slightly north of the city and fading fast,wouldnt be surprised to see a dusting by morning nice dusting here now ..

finally that blob arrives very light snow not sure the main shower will hit Aberdeen fingers crossed temp-2.6 dp-4

must be archive photos actual temp in Hamden ct is 14c no snow forecast there this week. -
the thunderstorm around 100 miles north east of the north east of England looks really active and its tracking very close to the Aberdeenshire area in my opinion.

certainly plenty plenty T+L to the south of stonehaven I think Aberdeen will just see this few mins of heavy stuff then a break looks likely for a few hours wether the nasty stuff in the north sea to the south east of us tracks our way is unknown has someone built an Aberdeen storm shield? storm to the north storm to the south cloud splits as it gets close to Aberdeen maybe we,ll get lucky later

i think theres a slight southerly track to the westward flow of the showers that will see them mostly miss the city to the south

all surfaces covered here now after a fairly intense burst of fine snow,temp 0.4 -2c dp -
the high parts of aberdeen have nearly 3 inches of snow with some roads very difficult to get up. think the worst past for now just light snow at the moment back to heavy snow again roads covered again

the shield seems to be invebervie across to braemar the ppn is being killed off quick wouldnt be surprised to see clear skies this evening good news about the mo 16-30 day change back to a colder outlook

after some snow this morning temps have risen 1.8c now and 0.5c dp there is a definite heavier band of ppn heading from the south west will see if it takes the temps back down with it .

very steady snow in aberdeen now after a nice wee covering overnight what a difference when the wind drops right out

temps dropping away now 0.3c and -1.3c dp our streamer seams to be drink driving one minute heading for us next its to the south now it seems to be heading just north of the city bring back the golden shot
