    Wow impressive stuff here in Castlereagh Hills. Had to abandon car at bottom of my steep hill...no chance of a run up seeing as you have to turn into it. Also a number of cars have been abandoned so too dangerously anyways. Fun times. Is that us for the night then? Heavy snow?

    Well - That was fun while it lasted ... never really got a good sense of the cold ... yeh it was cold enough to snow, but it thawed pretty quickly .. (albeit Friday it lay until Saturday midday) ... Different feeling to it - not the usual real cold I'd expect to experience with a cold spell as such .. Not sure if today will bring anymore but at the minute it's raining/sleeting - not a good sign .. Btw, I'm in North Belfast at the minute at work (Behind yorkgate), but I live up Castlereagh Hills - hoping the reported snow in Carryduff heads to my house, so I can get up home and enjoy it Today has a bit of a feel like Friday - miserable, slushy, wet, sleety morning - hoping for some heavy snow later, though I doubt it!

    Seriously? I was in Castlereagh hills - was snowing, but not really too heavy, not lying much ... Now I'm in North Belfast and it's like sleet

    Snowing here ... Building up the strength to shower after having the chills and sore throat all night. Not well at all but have to go in for meetin. Looking forward to the drive in the snow. Hopefully it continues all morning.

    Quite heavy Graupel shower here in Castlereagh .. ground is covered, snow mixed in (some big flakes)

    Snow here in Castlereagh Hills has thawed, not much around - mainly on grasses/hedges etc .. road is pretty much wet now ... on and off sleet/snow/graupel showers all day

    Ah yeh - I know it - only a 5min drive from my house .. snowing here too .. seems to be settling on my skylight window in my bedroom - which has the electric heater turned up high..

    Snowing here now - quite heavy but it's wet out so don't think it will lie ... looks to be quite fine snow too

    Here in Belfast up Cadtlereagh Hills ... Snow still lying around althought quite a bit less than yesterday Not sure if it will snow again but I know ice will be a big problem later

    Roads out of Belfast are bad. I came up castlereagh and newtownards roads. Slippy with the slush on road. Castlereagh hills completely covered. Looking forward to waking up tomorrow. Have to take sis into town for a concert. Gonna be fun. Left my big winter jacket in cafe next to work. All in all, not a great start to the weekend. Just glad there's snow though.

    I live up Castlereagh Hills .. but I'm in Belfast at the minute ... Starting to stick on our cars at work but not on the ground - though the ground is pretty wet and isn't really sticking very good!

    I've just left Castlereagh hills and it's heavy rain trying to sleet. I'm heading into the city. Just rain but it was 0 degrees a few mins ago now it's 1 degree Looking forward to later

    Gosh this is hard keeping track of what's going on - wasn't it Mid/East Ulster/N.I to get the worst of it - now apparently it's up North/West ..\ so confusing

    I'm constantly refreshing this page for more news - not that I understand all the technical jargon If it hasn't moved the last 2 hours and is intensifying - I take it we're in for some ride tomorrow
