  1. Looks to me it's something apart from Rita, seperate. Dunno what though, but its effecting her.
  2. lol, ok Bottom right in the sea, last 4-5 frames, the air bounces into the rear of Rita.
  3. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-vis-loop.html Run that agian... Very bottom of the screen to the right of the yucatan... See the cloud shift... thats the start of something new...
  4. Yeah - odd innit. It's the easterly feed it's getting, it's looks immensely strong and to now be a Cat 5 or there abouts, it's having a huge influence. If the easterly feed continues, she'll either slow and wait for the feed to die down, or battle on severing the feed and possibly losing 25-35% of her power in the process. It's, for me, not addin up. And im good with an abacus!
  5. I know lol. This attack on TX for instance, I cannot see it being on that head for much longer. I really cannot see a reason for it not to slow right down, grow and go to a NNW direction. I dunno, maybe im on the cola bottles too much tonight.
  6. This is bugging me.... http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-vis-loop.html Run the sequence and watch the turn, then as it turns note over florida. There is a definate link with the moisture that side on and the wnw shift. I think she's slowing and turn quicker than expected. I hope not but something is not according to plan.
  7. I cannot put my finger on it, There has been alot of energy disapearing from Phillipe and surrounding front's/area's. It's the most un-scientific explanation but I really don't trust Rita to follow the rules. Just look at the Atlantic wide picture... http://aviationweather.gov/data/obs/sat/in..._ICAO-B1_bw.jpg "Sore Thumb" springs to mind.
  8. But, in an strange way, there is something I don't trust about the make-up of Rita. Something doesn't look or feel right, 24 hours ago we had 4 active hurricanes, Phillipe being the closest, and He has died off very rapidly. Something is bothering me and I fear it's in a bad way.
  9. Looking at the high level winds, I think Rita will EWR twice and wallop at a cat 4.
  10. What a season!!!! Rita may stall and grow in the gulf too.
  11. Would love to see the power, but, oddly the side collapse is now affecting the eye wall, this may also make the break NO needs.
  12. The west side has been dented by a trough or ridge, this may now help the storm spin tighter!
  13. She's sped up - landfall 6 whole HOURS earlier than 1 hour ago!!!!!!! Get up early folks.
  14. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT/float-ir4-loop.html WOW!!!! Look at the pure engineering of the eye!! it's almost PERFECT.
