    At one stage yeaterday I thought there was going to be a lot of snow, with very strong winds to go with it. Thank goodness it hasn't turned out like that

    The A38 at Haldon Hill was closed due to vehicles stuck in the snow, according to Spotlight earlier.

    The 06Z NAE has the low further west than on its 00Z run with winds not quite as strong or am I misreading the charts?

    Still snowing lightly here, had about 3-4 inches.

    Been snowing here for the 20-30 mins or so, about half to 1 cm lying on all surfaces.

    Not long ago (21:30) had a short sharp thunderstorm here in Norton Fitzwarren, couple of really close strikes, knocked the power out briefly a few times, now its rumbling away in the distance.
