  1. It would appear that the storm shield is in full effect. Rain seems to be skirting along the coast then going in-land and producing thunder to my east. Also, water is wet.
  2. sferics in the channel south of Worthing. Thunder can be heard. Its happening.
  3. What is required to kick these storms off in the south today then? Am on the south coast, it doesn't feel stormy and currently thick cloud all round.

  8. Just seen the latest Sky News forecast for tonight. They're going with several splodges of rain over the Midlands and northern England, and one splodge over my location on the south coast. Definitely won't be happening.

  12. After a brief storm earlier that produced steady rain, the sun has returned. Hope this is a precursor to storms later.
  13. Had a bit of a storm earlier, now its clearing up and I think the sun might be out shortly. Can I get excited about anything for later perhaps?

  17. Not expecting much tbh. Too much high cloud. But any thunder is better than no thunder at all.
  18. 0% chance of thunder for Worthing according to NW, just heard thunder. Must be the stuff south of Brighton.
