    That area of intense show to the west is going to rotate into Yorkshire later today and tonight! Don't worry!!!

    Met office 5 day says constant heavy snow from 3am till 10pm sat then light snow till 12pm on sunday. Then again I am in the very south west of yorkshire. Missed out hugely this winter with a max snow depth of 11cm

    The meteoradar two hour forecast does suggest the precipitation may move south but I don't have much experience with that forecast. We shall see...

    That tasty streamer between Middlesbrough & York appears to be moving readily south with further showers behind it!!! MUCH MORE to come I see! Could be two hours of constant heavy snow for some areas tonight!

    100% snow here but NOT settling! Frontal snow is rapidly running out! I don't think there will be anything interesting from this front. Roll on convective Sunday!!! (I hope)

    You lot are lucky! Clear blue skies with no clouds at the horizon! Every time it gets cold enough to snow it seems to become clear and sunny!
