    OK one chart is from an analysis for 19th november 2010 and the other is from the current ECM at 48 hours. Interesting amount of similarity between the two charts including the Russian high and we all know what that led to!!! If this is the case then January may have a surprise in store!

    Noticed the high pressure over greenland significantly weakens and even becomes low from the middle to end of the ecm and gfs. Sign of change?

    Rare Asperatus cloud
    This photo was taken 9th February 2011 at 9:30am in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire as a cold front cleared. This kind of cloud appeared the next morning too surprisingly but not as clear.
