No. Just fed up with people hyping up stuff on the model thread when we all know that a two day affair is rubbish and pointless, I am also fed up of moderated cold spells with 2 and 3c highs which is of course too warm for the snow to lie.

No its not. The seas are still warm and it is the same kind of uppers as the last cold spell which lasted about 1 day and only brought a glace of lying snow to ground above 150m. We want a cold spell that will bring lying snow right down to the beach. With snow lasting more than 1 day. These two day crappy affairs are boring and a waste of my time.
I'm fed up of accepting northerlys as brilliant. They are simply rubbish, every winter should be like 2010. (Which is below -10c uppers)

I don't not after the last cold spell lol. The sea temps have suddenly risen by 1.3c aswell in one day. So that isn't very good either, we really need to get some proper cold air in to cool it down i.e -12c uppers.

Early stages of something next week. We will see, hopefully we can actually get a proper cold spell this time. The last one was crap.

Its actually super boring. Its probably gonna be like last year again where we'll have to wait for cold but I think this year the cold isn't going to be that good.

Castlerock now down to a median sea temp of 10.9c which is perfect. At least that is good so if any cold comes it won't be moderated as much. I think if we were to see a cold spell like the last one in the next two weeks we would easily see lying snow to sea level because of the cooling.

Its a bit foggy tonight at 4c. Ugh.. So boring, I suppose it could be worse and be like 12c constantly, the frosts are nice. Although last night it only made it to 2c because it got cloudy.

Sunny. Today is a lovely day, had a min of -3c. It is sunny right now, all frost is melted except in the shade. In the sun puddles are still frozen.

-3c sunny. Met say frost last all day but I doubt it even if it maxes at 1 or 2c ground is too warm.

Temp is dropping rapidly. Cloud cleared and temp has fallen from 1.4c to 0.2c in 10 minutes! Fastest drop i've seen here before I think! Dew point is -5c so we will see...

Its stalled at 4c for te past 4 hours due to an area of stubborn cloud. It could've been well below 0c by now as it was 2c at 5pm. Hate it when this happens.

yea i came out of uni at about half 6 and couldn't believe how cold it had gotten.
warmed up again though because its cloudy. -5c my head.

Well it hasn't got above 4c today so this is proba the coldest day so far.

Its so cold outside! I love cold but i'm actually hating this weather! Its the kind that makes your ears go numb. Sitting in school front of an open window which is high so i'm frozen solid

What a crap night.
Took a wee nap there and had my electric blanket on and its freezing.
Right now we have a heavy hail shower with a temp of 3,6c. Would not surpise me if it snowed right now.
Dew point is 0.1c. Windchill is -3c

It does seem to be one of those winters where the cold doesn't come to later.

I find the model thread very depressing. They are so downbeat.
