EZY30M which is just over Stoke on Trent appears to have departed from Southend Airport and is now returning there, can that be correct
Edit sorry I must have broken it as the link now says internal server error

This link needs to be refreshed about every five seconds

I don't post very much as I can learn more from the postings by TEITS, Nick Sussex ect, it is a shame that we do have that people want to have a go at people and I have found my hide posting feature being used more and more.
In terms of around here in Kempston, I think we have really done very well this winter as I can remember the run of mild winters when you were limited to one hours snowfall in March if you were lucky:)
I do hope the regional threads are allowed to stay open through the summer when we start to see thoses showers and thunderstorms, however I suppose it maybe to much work for the moderators.
Anyway I'm off out in the garden to do some clearing up, just up to 0.7.

For the second morning in a row it's snowing again:)
-
Snowing here in Bedford, not sure if it was rain before as the ground is wet, temperature 0.9
-
Nothing so far here in Bedford although the radar seems to be showing some movement towards this direction
-
You must have read my mind MS as just posted the same on another thread:)
-
Light snow here in Bedford
-
Julie?
Thought she said for western parts of the region.
She did, it's now on the BBC Weather web site under the local video tab.
-
I thought you might have sneaked the change in under the radar whilst we weren't looking Paul, this is worse than waiting for an Easterly
-
Apologies if this has been posted before but Hitler's thoughts on the snow in Suffolk gave us a good laugh today.
John
That was brilliant
I suppose a song from the war as the hours tick by to the close of this thread would be appropriate 'We'll Meet Again.............' you know the rest:D

I notice my outside temperature has gone up inthe past hour to just under freezing and I have seen a report from Swaffham, Norfolk of rain and a thaw taking place.
Anyone in that direction can confirm this and just wondered what everyones air temperatures are at the moment
-
Good morning everyone, couple of showers in the night which have left around 2cm. The roads look nasty as the temperature is -3 only A and B roads are now being salted.
-
At the moment getting a heavy snow shower as can be seen on the netweather radar
-
People will ask the question in years to come, 'What were you doing when this thread was born'<_<

Evening all,
Hope those of you in parts of Kent & Essex that experienced a few snow showers today, had fun. Lets hope that come mid-week all of the region get an invite to the party, fingers crossed we could well be seeing some memorable snowfall by the end of the week.
Sad day for me today, went to lay some flowers at my dear old mums graveside (her birthday today), up at Bromley Common, just off the A21.
And right on cue as I knelt to put the flowers down, we had the slightest of snow flurries, typical of my mum to produce some snow for her cold weather fanatic son.
Forgive me mods O/T but mum was born near Naples in southern Italy and had an accent resembling a female version of Gino D'Acampo. I can hear her to this day, totally perplexed by her sons obsession and fascination for cold weather and wondering why anyone would want to stay in a freezing cold kitchen and tune into Radio 4 at 12.45 a.m, while anybody in there right mind would be tucked up warm in bed. No central heating in the late-60s/early 70s, just a paraffin heater.
Apologies to any Italians reading this post and TEITS! She would deliver the following classic line:
"Why do ya wonna listena to the Shipping Forecasta, whena we dona even hava shipa?
Ah bless! God rest her soul.
I was always getting told off for opening curtains and doors to view snow falling. I was always the first one to offer to get a gallon of Esso Blue paraffin if it was snowing, though!
Sorry mods.
Regards,
Tom.
Tom,
My goodness you bought back some memories there and I just love that line
"Why do ya wonna listena to the Shipping Forecasta, whena we dona even hava shipa?

Down here in Bedford temperature has fallen to 0.7 and started snowing around 5pm and has just eased off, trees look like a winter wonderland
-
I'm just watching a couple of recently recorded programmes of Ice Road Truckers, to get myself ready for driving to work on Friday....
That must be a time machine picture of the M1 on Saturday morning

Thank goodness, I though our firewall had stopped netweather getting through, nearly went for the window

What happened to Brian - "Grab my Graupels" ??
You took the words out of my mouth, there does seem to have been a number of different names who have disappeared over the past year
-
Benne raining heavily from at 5pm with about three claps of thunder.
-
One loud peal of thunder about 10 minutes ago and some very heavy rain for about five minutes. Looking at the radar there appears to be some more very heavy rain on the way.
-
Very heavy rain here in Bedford, drains unable to cope with the water for a while also one clap of thunder.
