Making a hot curry for dinner.... Window open as windows steamed up and its freezing out..... My s-screen says its 3.3c..... Sunny out now too.... Hoping kent gets a battering 6inches plus..... Would be nice if it was powdery snow too.... Especially mondays.....

Thatll be nice hopefully will watch uni challenge monday then look outside and hopeully will be belting it down. Probably wont sleep monday night if it is!

Bbc se today..... Dusting possible saturday evening, snow graphic on sunday but dry most of monday but significant snow monday evening onwards.....

So as far as i can see kent lookslike possibly getting light snow saturday through sunday, show showers sunday night through tuesday, more significant snow tuesday into wednesday and possibly snow friday..... Quite wintry.... Im not even bothering looking past monday tuesday on the weather models as it is so volatile.... Such interesting weather within 72hrs, whats the point in looking much further!

If wind is in the right direction areas of se will be inundated.... North sea snow machine..... Likes of us lake effect snow very possible with -8-12c upper ait and 8-10c sea temps..... Thunder snow?

Faversham midkent looking good for snow if those faxes hold true...... Please..... Im moving house to glossop derbyshire in march.....

In 2005/2006 we had snow on streamers for days here..... Most of rest of se england was sleet but we had heavy wet snow..... If it had all laid we would of had feet not inches..... It does come down with the right wind direction here..... Plus evaporative cooling can play its part whih i reckon will be a feature with ths weekend..... If the precipitation can make it this far and is heavy enough.....

Gritters going up and down whitstable high street havent seen that for quite a while..... And the smaller sideroads..... Must know something we dont..... Or lots of salt in council coffers.....

Just been out to whitstable for dinner its 5c there, 1c back in faversham...... Misty/foggy but dry..... Hoping for some snow this weekend.... Mite be lucky with a nne/ne wind off thames estuary..... Fingerscrossed for se contingent.....

Bbc forecasts now have sleet and snow on their sat/sun symbol forecasts..... Ps -2c here and hard frost on cars, bbc say we should be 3c

Hoping for some snow before i move house at end of feb..... Meant to be going to arsenal game sunday, hoping south eastern wont be ground to halt for 1" of snow again.... If its 1 foot i could understand.....great synoptics though but all to play for for this weekend.... Beyond is pure fantasy but could get even better..... Just focusing on model output for this weekend over next few days.... If it comes to fruition ill be happy bunny!

Here in denmark still, its -3c everything frozen solid and its snowing again, 1-5cm tonight turning to rain in erly hours and 8c tomorrow apparently..... Weather is so up and down this past week! Update: its freezing rain now and everything is covered in a glaze of shiny white.......

1-5cm snow in next few hours then all turning to rain...... Still huge piles of snow in places here but either black or solid ice. Was by the sea north of copenhagen today and sea was frozen. Ground was completly solid. Was -3c at 1pm.

Local news on tv just had warning for freezing rain on top of the 6-8 inches of snow, drifts of 1-2ft, still blowing 50mph outside.... Just cleared drive in pitch black with pink sky and what lookslike glitter blasting you in the face.... Ouch.... At least the booze is on ice in the carport and south park is on tv at 1745! Merry xmas hope the rain stops soon in uk..... Its relentless..... Meant to be rain here for the rest of my stay here maybe some sleet/ snow mixed in but not laying..... Same storm systems uk having htting here day after day next week boooo.....

Copenhagen airport closed a runway delaying arriving flights. Trains upto 50 minute delays..... Snow expected to get heavier through this evening here.... The wind is gusting 65mph in the last hour.... Whiteout conditions since 2pm here.... Before the snow started windchill was -17c! Drifting dry powder snow i havent seen since 2010

Drifting 5-6inches complete whiteout..... Cant believe all that rain we had at heathrow is now heavy snow here....

Well looking at the gfs and its raw output, denmark doesnt need -5c 850s for snow..... Lookslike rain on output maps is snow for denmark? Also lookslike a trend towards a colder outlook towards new year this side of the north sea..... Interesting times..... Would be nice to get snow whilst i am away then come back to some too..... I can but hope......ps 4.5c and torrential rain on way back from whitstable..... If only it were 4c colder......

In denmark friday and tv2 denmark saying snow from sunday through wednesday next week with possibly monday, the day they celebrate christmas eve like we do christmas, will very likely be white, gfs suggesting 20cm snow on ground by then......interesting times..... glædelig jul og et godt nytår med masser af sne forhåbentlig!
