pretty unstable atmosphere over kent, lookslike its cooking..... very humid still..... 26c dew pnt 20c and rising again..... third cold shwr of day? stickier than a sticky stick insect......

My thoughts exactly....... still 26.5c here, humid and skies clearing...... could all still go bang, was not meant to here until after 9-10pm anyhows.... i looked at previous and this evening over spain, same thing could happen here, sun goes down, nocturnal cooling... boom!

33c here in faversham today, hate to say it but the person who mssged me earlier sayimng my thermo was broke was wrong! (PS not you Daniel) 31.5c at mo and extremely humid..... PS anyone doubting should see the storms that fired off in north spain last night when the sun had gone down....... thats what we r in for...... getting bbq warmed up, wine open, good lightening watching people!

It could well be its hot out there..... and rising fast...... I wouldnt rule out a few places recording 33-34c today before the rain/thunder arrives..... sticky is todays choice word.....

830 am its 26c....... pretty heavy oppressive outside..... feels like it should go with a bang..... a warm breeze out there too.....

7am its 23c already and dewpnt is 20c.....lovely.... should make 30-32c id say by lunchtime if not mid morning....

Been 27c for few hrs now.... nice breeze with all windows n doors open, pretty warm, esp after sunday roast....

in august 2003 here in faversham kent we had 38c (Brogdale farm) whereas london was 36c...... faversham in the shield of the north downs is a little heat trap if the wind is in the right direction.... we can get higher temps than london in the medway towns as well. There is potential if the sun comes out, of 33-34c somewhere Monday/tuesday..... The thunderstorm potential is huge, but as always, radar watching and nowcasting going to dominate proceedings i think.... would be interesting to see if France, maybe on smaller scale us, get USA style storms out of this set-up.... the temps and humidity will be off the scale in southern France/Spain....temps progged in high 30's low 40's with high humidity = OUCH..... something is going to go bang.... Looking forward to Sunday thru to Tuesday..... Lots of low broken cloud around at mo but when sun does come out temp shot upto 23-24c. Feeling bit humid..... doors open, steaks marinating, chilled rose just being opened, tennis on telly (swivelled so watching from outside).....if carlsburg made weekends....

Am north of the Downs in Faversham.... am hoping for 32c monday and night min of 21c..... and then a nice big storm imported from France, possibly an MSC, remember a few of those in the past, such great lightening.... going to be a humid one though so off with the bedsheets.... Really looking forward to this weekend, nothing to do but enjoy the weather, have a few beers/pimms/ciders/glasses of wine, watch tennis/F1/glasto on the box....hoping for an evening (maybe sunday?) of opening the doors, swivelling the telly and watching it outside with 24-25c at 2100..... lovely....

If those Cape and Li charts for tuesday did come to fruition then we could expect some extreme thunderstorms....MSC look possibility. Looking on google, Cape values above 2500 and li above -6 can help to form thunderstorms that can produce 60mph+ gusts, golfball sized hail and torndaoes... This is IF though as GFS will back track from that id of thought..... but nice looking chart....would end drought in E Anglia Id of thought, well probably flood the area..... Nice and warm 23c here, starting to have clouds build here at mo..... looking 4ward to weekend of possibly 30c+ with the wind etc, this part of kent is usually a hot spot..... a nice 34c for monday/tuesday and min temps of 18-22c would feel very summery

rocking and a rolling by these clouds are popping up quickly..... dark to my south and east

thunder and lightening very very frightening! oh i wouldnt mind a thundery shower..... lots of rain yesterday.... 30mm.... fast moving clouds today looking pretty convective.....

Pretty active little thing, but yes bolts were extremely close, two hit just across the railway tracks from me, i live near the station....... made me jump four times.....satellite is back on now, yey, so watching tennis with glass o vino....
