    Will be out around Shropshire again. In last three days been as far west as the boarder with Wales (which we are not allowed to cross even for Storm chasing reasons) And as far east as the boarder with the West Midlands (which I dont want to cross for personal reasons ) Today might be the day to head south to deepest darkest 6 fingered Herefordshire!

    It’s right on the door step to you looking at radar but it’s decaying. Hard lines fella. I have been out and chased some good storms last three days. If you can get 20 miles out of town you could have seen a fair bit. Newport has a hammering each day this week so far. Also stuff down in Bridgenorth. We had a direct hit last night too. best bet get up the Wrekin. You can see the lot from their.

    Feels like it’s all too slow moving for us to get here before nightfall. And it’s back building to the north east now. Things for us to keep eye on are the cell over Wolverhampton slowly moving west. With lightening near Shifnal. And my personal favourite storm of the day defying all the wind direction starting just west of Gloucester and stubbornly going NORTH for hours and hours and still east of the A49. Now north of Leominster and still going just about. If that gets here fair play!

    Interesting that storm east Hereford just wants to keep going North than north west. They have had an annoying close miss.

    Came to east Telford and everything seems to have died off not the best call that. Storms to north over Newport. Should I!

    Thanks, i have the extra radar so helps me learn what im looking at. TBH if it gets a bit closer i'm tempted to bomb down the M54 and see how it looks from the other side of Telford. Dont get many Supercells in Shropshire!

    Everything jumped over us in the last hour as some pretty decent storms are now raging north of us. Everything near hear collapsed and we just have rain. Shame, but can complain about these last three days in general. We are in a big dry slot after that unless anything else kicks off.

    Been a case of almost so far today here. Storms coming up the A458 from South west Brum getting on the doorstep and a few rumbles before fading as it back builds more and more near Birmingham.... Couple of small cells have skirted past north and south, but not the main action.

    Sun coming through for first time today! Some little showers developing in a line out of Mid wales towards Birmingham. Something to keep an eye on.

    Compared to last two days, its gray murk here at the moment, and does not feel as primed as last few days. Weird.

    Another storm coming this way from Telford/Ironbridge. Can already hear the distant rumbles. Round 3 today and 4 for the week! Madness.

    It’s right over us with torrential rain. Must be inter cloud lightening as it’s just flashes in the clouds and then thunder almost instantly at times.... and yes my guttering is broke IMG_3257.MOV

    With lots around us yesterday and so far today, Shrewsbury getting its first direct hit.

    Back in town as another cell goes north of town and something building southwest. Not had a direct hit on town but been stuff drifting past on all directions last couple of days.

    Two individual storms in close order and thunder from both (sounds like it) I’m still west of Shrewsbury. looking prime everywhere to be honest. Can see the Stafford cells off in the distance. IMG_3227.MOV

    Decided to come out west of town to look at the storm that was heading into wales. Is decaying. Nothing but a load of rain.

    Yeah... was half tempted to steal the wifes car and chase the one heading to wales, but its got a bit of a head start... keeping a close eye on radar and if anything develops nearer here will head out.

    Good storm kicked off about 7/8 miles west of town... can here the occasional rumble... closes we had had all day. Heading into Wales.

    Something developing to the east of town giving over us.. might be something of interest towards Wrexham way. Sadly no chase for me today, my 3 year old car failed its first ever MOT today. Nightmare
