Anything happening??
Typical plastic forumite here: only around for snow or Thunderstorms ;-)
-
Right, its skinny rubbish, rapidly thawing here and we are nicely in the middle of two snow bands.
Got Southern road relays at MK tomorrow so hope thats the end of it. Its too late in the year to settle properly, so kindly bugger off now snow, you're a bit pointless in March..
Rant over
-
about 1cm here, now trying to cover the roads..coming down quite heavy now.
-
Looks like plain old rain out there at the moment. Thought I would see a few flakes by the lampost, not that I'm arsed. Would love the weather of this time last year instead.
-
Supposedly halfway through the squall line, no precipitation as yet...bizarre.
-
Squall line went through 30 mins ago.. Heavy Rain- Sleet and temperature gone from 6.4c at 2:30pm to 3.7c now.
Still not got here yet...radar lying!! just a bit of sleet then? dull....
-
Squall line taking ages to get here. Dark towards the SW, but I see from the radar, Aylesbury Vale is starting to dissolve the heavier echos, as usual!!
-
Good day to not go to work and have a day off. West coast mainline up the creek and heaviest radar echo in Camden by the looks..good call ;-)
-
Looked like the end of the world was coming here in Central London, but already stopped after a brief flurry.
-
Only in Durham on leisure!!
Still coming down, but 7/10 now..2-3 cms lying
-
9/10 here in Durham. Sat afternoon Dec 2010 standard. Yes that heavy!!
-
Yep, seems about right as modelled yesterday. The North Est get what we would have liked - Que Sera
Fed up with it myself, hope its winters last hurrah!
-
Yeah it's lovely. The national was here in 2001, and it snowed then too;-)
Just up to Sunderland for the race and straight home again, shame..
-
You should be up here inDurham, proper fat flakes, not sure about covering but some locals have said 2-3cms.
Up for national cross country in Sunderland, starting to get the layers on now!!!
-
Visiting for the national cross country in Sunderland, wintry view out of myDurham hotel window!!
Had enough now, roll on spring!!
-
Tentative sleetyness here...
-
Interesting tonight, rain all night here, but blizzard up the road in Luton and snowing in St. Albans too. Very localised marginal weather!!
-
Interesting. Steady rain here in LB. definitely doesn't want to snow here tonight..not that I'm particularly arsed now,had my fix of snow for the year.
I'm easily pleased though, grew up in Bournemouth where it snowed once in every 4/5 years!!
-
Christ, look at the stuff over Normandy on the radar..wow! Snow over there?
-
BBC weatherman about 50 miles too south with the snow line there??
-
Just plain rain here in LB. no white bits in the lamposts either!
-
Sleet in Leighton buzzard?
That can't bode well for Essex then :-(
Yes, but quite light..might develop as the heavier stuff comes through..
-
Sleet/rain in Leighton Buzzard, perhaps we might be on the snow line!
It's mucking up my running now, so it's been fun, but rain is fine with me now Sorry!! (Cue the blizzard!!)
-
Still clinging onto our little strip of snow that extends down to London, judging by the rain radar. Done so much better from this than expected, over here in the 'west side' ;-)
Started at 9, probably 7-8 cm, perhaps more than Friday.

Depressed myself watching the weather for the week ahead on BBC. More rubbish - breezy at times as bloody usual in this country
Sunday was nice, but yesterday I would call that bloody windy rather than breezy! and absolutely freezing out of the sun...but I'm a runner and the forecasters' 'breezy' is our 'windy'
