    had a very lite snow shower about 20 25 minutes ago here very cold and quite windy though.

    Indeed I think that the models are showing cannot be discounted totally over the last few years we have had two extremes February 2018 beast from the east following year we had 20 1C in February. This may come off it may not if it did however I would think this country will not be able to cope personally I would love a winter of extremes. I also think that the 3SSW we had this winter has helped things along any further warming are we expecting in the Strat guys?

    Totally totally agree with this this cold snap was too overhyped especially here on net weather those up north who have had quite substantial snowfall and those who are in the South Southeast have overhyped it too much those posters who have disagreed and said it may not turn out the way people were saying those views were shot down in flames.

    Nothing for here either the yellow warning that met issued yesterday they cancelled it today as I expected to be honest I think this cold spell has been overhyped especially here on in that weather Yes don’t get me wrong it looks good for South East UK East UK and Scotland every where else I don’t think much will come of it.

    It’s no surprise that Scotland will do best out of this incoming cold spell nothing unusual about that it always happens that way even in most crappy winter and this one is turning out to be quite good for some.

    To be honest I cannot see February producing anything significant every time the cold gets pushed back let’s see the cold was supposed to be first it was early Jan then midland then end of Jan and now it was early February now we talking about mid Ferb by the time kollie comes to our shores it will be almost summer.

    It’s absolutely understandable why they are having a moan I know they shouldn’t do it in the model out put thread it doesn’t look good for most of us going by the Met update for end of week and I would go as far to say beyond next week either

    Still snowing here however it’s not sticking on anything more wet I would say. Good call yesterday evening like you said the Met will remove the warning this morning regarding next week and they did indeed.

    Too much hype regarding February I don’t think it Will be a very cold month I think it will be quite mild 7.5c and 100 5MM precipitation.

    That is true I suppose however they cannot complain because we are allowed out one hour a day for exercise and sledging in the snow I think is the best form of exercise in my opinion. No stopped here now completely is it going to come back again down our way is what I am interested in.
