What a beautiful start to the end of autumn and coming up to winter here by Villa Park I would guess about 2 3 cm of lying snow sorry these photos isn’t very good quality

Morning everyone across the region what a lovely surprise to wake up to it’s snowing here and settling by Villa Park

This does look rather exciting how ever this is the CFS secondly I would be extremely excited if this was 144 hours away however this is a month away yet if only this came to fruition then I think netweather would have to order a new server because of the melt down.

My guess for November I personally think it’s going to be a mild November I am going with 9.5c I also think it will be quite wet so precipitation I am going with 110 mm.

Thank you for that link very interesting comments that I hope that are right but it is unusual for the BBC to make kind of statements like that day made over the last couple of weeks. let’s hope the BBC and the worlds climate service is right in what they are forecasting.

December 1990 though it was quite mild I remember eighth of December 1990 was a Saturday and the day before we had quite heavy rain however overnight into Saturday there was a big snowfall I remember because I was going to go and watch Villa against Tottenham. I really remember this because on that day and a few days after that cars couldn’t even go down our road because they were stuck in snow I was 12 at the time also I think it was one of the biggest snowfall since Jan 1987 and before February 1991.

With our position on the doorstep of the Atlantic it never is straight forward when it comes to UK weather is it is why we all stressing before winter even kicks in I do hope the Strat helps us out a bit this upcoming season though.

Well folks get ready for a mild and stormy winter now AccuWeather forecasting a cold jan and February and less wind storms during the winter their forecast over the last few years for Europe has been quite poor especially for Uk and Island if I am not mistaken. Must admit though some of the post I read on here today from guys who have had briefing for the upcoming winter doesn’t fill me with joy. at least Winter 20 21 hasn’t been too bad it had had its moments I would be some what happy with something like that especially if we don’t get The mild winter they forecasting.

Wow that must be a record for this forum a Winter’s over post in September how ever I can see where you’re coming from though I don’t think there’s enough data to actually say that a warm September will be followed by a mild winter. Anyway I do hope that we get a mother of all winters this up coming season
