My daughter in Newport and she said it' really started to come down atm
Thanks for that IceQueen, was showing as light precip, but then pepped up, was intrigued if it actually had turned heavier in reality. Imagine its the front edging into Costal Sw England, pushing it up and creating bit of convection ahead.

Really pleased that it looks like some of you SW of here are going to break the snow shackles, cruel luck in recent years, we won't get anywhere near as much as you guys, but for once i am not bitter, pleased for you patient folk! Now go get 20-30cm

Interesting to know if anyone posts in here from Newport bit further north across from the Severn. Shower has rapidly expanded from N Bristol as it crossed the Severn.

Looking good guys/girls. Precip starting to edge into costal zones, precip seems to be building at the front. Poole, should have snow falling? karlos/mapantz?

Anyone see the last few radar returns, precip turned heavier expansively as it moved out of Bristol into Severn into Wales. Anyone around there?

I’m in Buckinghamshire. Looking at the radar we’re not in the firing line for the precip heading out of France is that right? It ties in with what the Metoffice app says I guess!
Hi Jamie. I would say we are right on the far NE, some models show it making it this far but we on lighter and right on boundary, personally somewhere 20 miles SW of here could see few cm's while here a dusting.covering.

Reckon Taunton will get hammered, just looked at radar. picked where i think sweet spot will be zoomed in and Taunton. So thats it you somerset folks!

About 3cm of snow here after this mornings light fall, moderate for a short time. Clearing up now.. Eyes to SW. Think we will be right on the NE edge of this, somewhere Wiltshire will do well. Especially down towards Somerset/Dorset. Enjoy!

Usually when its windy and cloudcover temp is mild. Not at -4.1c and 17mph ENE, Gusting 30mph.

Radar says Oxford is going to get some just about now, and it is indeed lightly coming down now, not like the big daytime fluffy flurries we had off and on all day today, the kids were very excited, but hopefully thickening up soon. Quite exciting. Not sure whether to go to bed soonish or not....
Don't hopeful the flurries will get heavier. Precip moving slowly towards us. Hope Chilterns behaves and doesn't kill some of it!

Hi mate. Yes had strengthened somewhat on the eastern side, think we will get some light to moderate snow for a while at least. May extend into Nw London, time will tell. Encouraging.
Had snow falling here for about 1 1/2 hours, light to moderate flurries from time to time another 1cm or so. Drifting from previous snowfall in strong easterly winds.
Temp -2.7c. Dewpoint -4c.
