Well the likes of Chio and GP have touched on the idea of a moderation of the cold at times followed by a reloads not too long after so if do see a breakdown of sorts then fingers crossed they have this correct.
The Wales, Ireland and Southwest regional threads will be quite telling later on this morning methinks, if they're noticeably active then I'll know automatically that things are heading the way the way of the pear.
I'm now for the night, Hopefully come the morning this thread won't give me any reason to consider chucking my laptop through the window but again I wouldn't count on it.
This is around the exact same point before the last 'so called' event when we began to see the start of things really trending the wrong way albeit eastwards that time as opposed westwards so to say that I'm in no way concerned as of yet would be a lie. Fingers crossed for corrections the right way tomorrow but sods law says don't count on it.
Is there a chance if it all that this could still turn out like Monday with everything being shunted east last minute? or are we at the stage now where that's a silly question?
Just for fun I've just had a look at the snow risk charts for this area. Would it really be too of an much to ask for that not to downgrade too much if at all?
A good week or two if not more could be written off if the GFS has this one correct but that said it has been prone to massive wobbles before like last week for instance so hopefully this is another one of those cases.
Edit: spoke too soon, Deep FI shows hints of height rises towards the end of the month lol
Seeing all that rain out there and thinking what could have been,Aaaaagh!
If anything it feels like Atlantic has already broken even thorough technically it hasn't just yet.
I've got a really bad feeling about the mornings output, yes I'll be the first to admit that this is just me letting of steam because things are rather looking pants for my area on Monday but still it would just be sods law if the Atlantic were to roll in towards the end of the week thus ruling any further opportunities until we're well into February.
