Im probably the calmest person you will ever meet, but my god, he annoys me! Not one constructive post in his whole existence on here, and APPARENTLY he knows stuff about the weather, like, it wont snow and, its raining!
I made good use of my ignore button a while ago with this one

Stood at the bus stop for work , very fine snow but coming down pretty fast

ahhh what a difference a few hours make !! the met forcast I had been watching said snow for us here at 1500 and it was pretty much that when it started , got to keep the faith !!

Important forecast on Leeds @BBCLookNorth and Hull @looknorthBBC on expected snow next 48 hours. BBC1 6.30pm

Well with all the moaning going on in this thread I am quite happy
I am no expert but have read the model thread for the last 10 days and tried to keep up with the ups and downs
As far as I can see and have read we could see snow on and off for the next 5-7 days!
Fingers crossed stop moaning and enjoy what we get
here here

Just popped outside at work and it is still snowing here , very light but still snow .

Just shows how things can change from forcasts in situations like this as I am pretty sure we were not forcast for the flurries some times heavy ones we have been getting on and off here .Looking at the sky and radar is what I will be doing this weekend

Can you just believe that out of the whole country warnings -only yorkshire n Scotland look like no sig snow. What a shame
Well on met office site we are under yellow warning all weekend ? Dont know what you are looking at ?

Snow all day Friday and Saturday, with more snow on Sunday
Yeah I have seen that too , would happily take it but trying to not get the hopes up too much

I am a total newbie in regards to model output etc, but when people are stating that the event is over just after 1 run it is a little annoying to be honest, especially when in the model output thread this is posted, which to me shows a lot of snow over our region on saturday afternoon does it not?

Bit confusing for newbies like me that some people flip their opinions as often as the models do.
Surely you cant take 1 run as gospel?
I too find this confuses me also , I am a weather enthusiast and really dont know how to read charts ( though I have a go) so I let more informed people on here guide the way . I find that just as people have the tendancy to ramp possible snow events some go the full 180 in the other direction then I am left a bit baffled !

Doesn't look tht good for rest of country too really. Typical just as it felt and looked special thus happens. Back to boring uk weather then again.

Just popped in to the north west forum and there seems to be more optimism in there than in here ! Come on people cheer up the main even isn't even expected for a good few hours
