  1. Latest Radar really shows well the trouble the MCS Has of moving North once it gets above 50N, As soon as it hits the Upper Strong Steering flow is sending it quite abruptly West North West, Landfall at the moment seems to be near to Bournemouth or even Eastern Devon, should just skim the South of the IOW, Plenty of Storms firing along the Front in a line and heading WNW As well. Going to be quite a noisy old night in W Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon, Devon and onto South Wales.

Pictures tomorrow Guys! No excuses

So close but so far :(

  2. would anyone agree the other furious storm North France is heading North East towards Kent direction

edit I take that back.........no its heading towards IOW

Still? Oh golly jolly wolly how exciting!

  3. I finally got it to load on ITVPlayer! Wow! Just wow its cheered me up after a really bad day. I hope you gave him a good smack around the back of the head for opening the door though.

Same here. I had just come in from work from a really bad day. Sat down thinking what shall I watch *Sigh*, saw I had recoreded that (had forgotten before) and jumped for joy. Really cheered me up!! Yay!! Very very well balanced indeed with the people who are affected and the joy of the situation for the chasers. Absolutely awesome!

  4. I will be working when this is on so have set it to record. Top priority over anything else it is!

    I had a quick search but from what i can see it's a one-off documentary :(

Guess it might be repeated on ITV 2? Alternatively after its been on look for it on here ... uknova.co.uk

  5. From Wikipedia -

Hail fog sometimes occurs in the vicinity of significant hail accumulations due to decreased temperature and increased moisture leading to saturation in a very shallow layer near the surface. It most often occurs when there is a warm, humid layer atop the hail and when wind is light. This ground fog tends to be localized but can be extremely dense and abrupt. It may form shortly after the hail falls; when the hail has had time to cool the air and as it absorbs heat when melting and evaporating.

Thank you! Thought it might be hail melting and evaporating.
