    Poor Paul they taking the P out of you! I'm just shocked that you men can't cope one week without having to take a blow up doll. :)

    Good to see your having great fun! I would so love to come along but I don't think I would have the stamina! :doh:

    Very special winter for me. As has been uttered by many deep southern central people it just is unheard of down here.

    1-2 inches tops that lasts no more than 24 hours and gone. So to have over a week of the lying stuff was just magical!Totally magical. I got snowed in with no buses coming out here. Our car was broke in the garage so was relying on the local shop where everyone was panic buying! Waking up daily to hear and see happy children playing in the park. Just lovely. They deserved the time off school just to sample this as it may not happen again for another 10-20 years. Just fan-tas-tic!!!

    Ok Just listened! Wow thats a huge difference in temperature over 10c!!

    I have to say my first passion in that brought me to look into weather more was facination with hurricanes.

    I would absolutely love to see the eye of the storm The real stadium affect. I think tbh I would seriously stand there and cry bucket loads at the absolute awe of it!!

    Further heavy snow showers will affect parts of the south this afternoon with localised accumulations of 5 to 10 cm. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the 'Highways Agency' for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.

    20 mm here now in just over an hour and I am only 10 mins up the road. Pretty narrow band I'd say although the radar is expanding and dare I say it there are the odd red flashes in there too.

    Heya! Meto not updated so can't see the 2pm run! lol. I'll out and measure now.

    Stopped snowing here. And melting fdast on roads and pavements.

    It's not even much as yo ucan see the grass still through it. So tis a sprinkling really.

    Heavy snow 1.5 cm in half an hour . As Paul Sherman says the low is slow moving East so could be a hoover event on the South coast. We have some catching up to do. This could just be it !

    T'is interestingd as meto said it would be gone by 2pm ... and its still at it. Not measured my snow yet. but its only just a wee dusting for now.
