Cool!
Completely irrelevant but I watched a documentary last night about a little boy who claimed to be reincarnated. He said in a previous life he lived on Barra and described it in some detail despite the fact he lived his whole life in Glasgow. It showed quite a bit of the island which looks very pretty. Shame about the weather while they were filming though
No don't! Honestly I have seen somereally good photos taken with compacts and some atrocious ones taken on dSLRs. Spending money doesn't always equal good photos
Oh. I didn't mean to start this. All I was concerned with was how and where you draw the line and who actually makes that decision (obviously not someone who is entering the competition themselves otherwise that is likely to cause more controversy).
A separate contest sounds like a good idea though, I love all the wildlife photos and even the landscape ones where the focus is scenery irrelevant of the weather. In fact I just love photos
True, just wondering how easy it's going to be to do though? I mean most photos have a vague weather content, whether it's a piece of sky or that the sun is shining. Is the weather going to have to be the main subject, ie clouds rainbows etc?
I've started this thread so we don't clutter up the competition thread. Please feel free to discuss here. OON. So does that mean that under the new rules last months winner would have been disallowed? That would be a shame.
You get close to a heron and they are sodding enormous!
I can attest to this. One plunged off my roof the other year and I nearly pee'd my pants! I thought it was a vampire!
