Fridays storm is certainly proving a headache. Looks like the GFS have moved the system slightly further south again. The Metoffice have issued a warning for the south coast, but surely the tail end of the depression at 12z T+42 is going to cause some quite wild conditions for East Anglia?

A long time lurker here finally making my first post, so go easy on me
There looks like a considerable low passing through the English Channel on Friday 16th December on most of the models. This could be a very disruptive event in the south if it comes off. I was half expecting it to have disappeared from the model run by todays 18z but it seems like there is now even more agreement on it.
Still a long way into FI though, so I'm certainly not putting any bets on it!

Snowing heavily here in Lowestoft. Agree with you Random Images, looks like we could be in for a covering by morning before the temperature rises!
This North Sea shower chain has happened before and caught us by surprise; the Met Office always forgets us!
