  1. Driving Snow here still, things turning slightly white now. Settling on cars and roofs now. Small flakes really though, but heavish also. Temp 0.9c Edit: Starting to settle on pavements as well now. Amazing! Just shows you, don't matter how wet it can be sometimes, it can settle fast if heavy enough, Seen it all before, so no surprise really. Just fascinating.
  2. Driving snow here in ESE winds, very wet, very cold. Nothing remotely settling just yet, far too wet. Getting a little heavier now. Temp hovering around 1c.
  3. Proper snow Dagenham, driven on ESE brisk winds. Small flakes. Very cold out - Temp 1.6c - Dew 1c
  4. Hmmm, light sleet rain mix here, a few snow bits in it as well, but it's light anyway.
  5. Evidence of snow falling here now! NICE!!! Still sleety snow mix, but there are some flakes falling now.
  6. Moderate Rain here. The odd watery sleet mix, but mostly rain. Temp 2c Brisk wind.
  7. Temp dropping like a stone now, down 3c in the last hour or so, down to 2c. Rain has some big drops in, but despite that, no slushy drops on me car yet! It's getting there though, and fast by the looks of it!
  8. Temp dropping nicely now, gone from 5c about a hour or so ago, to now 3c, still raining moderatley, brisk SE wind making it feel more like -3oc.
  9. Temp drop to 4c from 5c within the last hour! Dew point 2c. Rain moderate with a brisk SE wind, feeling a little raw now.
  10. Yep, looking sweet as you say - Would prefer Jovetic being honest, Villa is very good, but at 31 and the price Barca would require, not for me personally, and not for Arsene I'd imagine, we'll see. Personally I'd rather the defence be concerntrated on rather than the attack, we look ok too me up front, Giroud is going to be a world beater soon! Walcott, Podolski ample enough cover. Were looking better now, let's hope we carry on and catch the mob from up the road! Currently light rain/drizzle at times - Temp 5c - Dew point 2c - SE'ly wind - Humidity 80.92%
  11. Yep, a good win for both eh! Thought the Geordies might of held you to do us a favour, but Gareth Bale is a bit of a Rolls Royce player isn't he. Another 0-1 to the Arsenal, so I'm happy! UP THE GUNNERS!!!
  12. Currently light rain here in Dagenham, temp hovering 3c and slightly rising, light winds. Doesn't feel cold enough, but remember this is a SLOWBURNER, things will turn more wintry later this evening, so fingers crossed it'll be all white on the night!
  13. BOOOM! I'm slightly North and East of London! HAVE SOME!!! I'm sure a lot will still change as the day progresses.
  14. That High pressure is still dominant looking to me on that Friday chart. Hmm, could be some surprises from this.
  15. Beautiful orange tinge to the skies above. Snowing nicely here still! Love it long time! More, more, more please!!!
  16. Just a wonderful winters day, not really that much expected despite the warnings. A good 4-5 inches lying here in Dagenham East, and had such fun in it with the kids! Band of snow now moving slowly away north and east, very slowly though, and I understand ppl's view on it coming back at us, can see that. Snow continuing to fall, and moderate to heavy at that. Magnificent snow event today, can't fault it!
  17. Dandruff snow for a few hours, fairly heavy to moderate, but settling well nearly an inch, which is a lot more than we got Friday in over 15 hours of snow.
  18. Further East I'd guess this system will go for me. Looking at the radar http://europa.buienradar.nl/gmap.aspx?soort=loop3uur&zoom=7&lat=50.4888&lon=4.4192 Although winds are favorable for it too move further west, I think Brighton northwards too East London will be the fine line, and the heaviest of the snow in the North Sea. Maybe East Anglia will end up better from this next lot of snow. Wouldn't be surprised if snowfall level totals are rather overcooked.
  19. Well after a good solid 10-12 hours of light to very occasional moderate falls of snow yesterday and some overnight, we have around half a cm of lying snow, with now a slight thaw happening, I can hear drip, drip off my son's bedroom roof. Grey skies above, doing nothing Zzzz Temp currently registering 2c in my car.
  20. Surprised at the let down that is Kent and other parts that have reported dustings, and sun peeps even, but I did fear some would miss out due too seeing other bands from the west being shunted SW into Northern France a few days ago. I just think the high pressure to our East is too strong. Still snowing lightly to moderate occasionally here in Dagenham East, a cm or so maybe lying still, deep enough for a ant! lol Better than some obviously anyway. I'm still happy, although depths have been disappointing too say the least in my neck of the woods. Temp hovering 0c Edit: Coming down heavier than it's been all day now, I'd say a moderate fall now. Although I can see a few attempted breaks in the cloud overhead.
