    Derek Brockway (The Welsh weatherman!) on his Twitter: Met Office forecaster 9:10pm: "Snow amounts are the main uncertainty. Biggest snow totals in 48 hours are in South East Wales." Enjoy!

    So has yesterdays expectation and ramping now turned more into hope?! Goes to show what a difference of a few hours models makes

    Yep, as what happens so many times.. The closer we get and more excited people get.. the downgrades begin!

    Is this due for tonight/tomorrow morning or tomorrow (Sunday) night into Monday morning? Working tomorrow and Monday as long as we don't get too much snow. I don't expect loads here in Pontyberem, near Llanelli but it doesn't take much to stop things moving, especially as I live on the top of quite a steep hill! Anyway an exciting few days ahead by the looks of things!

    Bitterly cold outside, almost as cold as it felt arriving for work at 6am this morning! Bloody freezing! I'm in the Llanelli, wouldn't mind snow tomorrow however I am working Sunday so I would rather it didn't then! Work is cold enough without the snow too!

    Judging by the radar the precip, falling as rain at the moment, is moving away and we don't have long left so I think that's that for here! Oh well, at least I can get to work without any fuss tomorrow Good night, hope some of you see snow.

    Same here, still expect to wake up to wet ground and no snow, but yeah, I am also a tiny bit more hopeful! If we get snow then most people here will!

    Thanks for that, will keep my eyes on it! Not sure why I am bothering, almost certain that I won't see snowfall. I am certain that I won't wake up to lying snow!

    Well that basically means it won't be sticking around here if it doesn't start snowing until 3-6am

    Haha yep, exactly! Not sure, this is difficult to call for anybody! As someone else rightly said, if it moves a few miles either side it can make a big difference!

    Very light rain here in Carmarthenshire. Expecting it to get heavier, and expecting it to stay as rain/sleet!

    Still undecided whether I want snow, as I have a 6am start tomorrow! I'm expecting to see some rain fairly soon, wonder if it'll turn to snow throughout the night..

    The MetOffice's warning seems to be focused on mid and east Wales. Maybe I will miss out!

    I'll be polishing my sledge too, just incase. It might be the best way to get to work! Situated on the top of a very steep hill it's never easy, even with the slightest bit of snow. I'll be keeping an eye on this tomorrow after work, goodnight for now folks!

    No weather warning for me inbetween Carmarthen and Llanelli for Friday although there has been talk that we could see snow! Not sure if I even want snow, with a 6am start on Friday morning it wouldn't be ideal!

    Hello, new to the forum. I'm an absolute novice but I am a little confused by how sure the Met Office seem to be, what with our weather warning for snow.. Away from the wind it's actually a very mild night and I just can't see that changing.. Oh also, we've had so much rain here! The culvert next to the house is overflowing and started to flood the road until, what seems, the worst of the rain was over. Would love to see some snow but just can't see it, unless the Met Office know something we don't!
