    Nooo If only I had checked here an hour ago! I could've been round in 10'seconds. Dinner sounded yum! Met I app has snow for us tonight/tomorrow/sat and Sunday... Hmm wonder if il be needing carrots, hats and scarves?

    good morning everyone firstly much love to JP xx I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad. Its truly devestating to lose anyone close to you, especially a parent. I lost my Mum 4 years ago, she died pretty suddenly after 6 weeks of illness and she was only 45. I've felt totally lost without her ever since. Over time the good and happy memories overtake the raw ones you feel at the time of their parting as others have said. There will always be that hole in your heart though. Take great comfort in the fact that you were there with him right til the end. He would've known that and it would've been such a comfort to him too. Take care of yourself JP xx Big congrats to Leemondo on the birth of baby Noah <3 I hope Mum is doing well and wish her a speedy recovery. Enjoy your little man x And wishing Lollypops Mum is better very soon xx Lets hope we have some snowy weather soon to cheer us up & keep us occupied

    LOL! I'd have to ask my other half.. He has a long list of them he takes the pee out of me for. I still only know my own versions to the songs and refuse to believe the proper words as mine are much better I'll ask him later and share my awesome lyrics haha

    Vein lights is cool! Its one of those cute things where you mistake words for something else. Some of my 'own versions' of song lyrics are legendary where I mistake some words for something COMPLETELY different lol

    it is fay knights or even fein/feign. We taught our 4yr old to shout it in play battles lol. Morning everyone. Not so windy today then! Really grim and wet out there though. Im off out in an hour so I bet it starts to chuck it down as soon as I step out the door. The law of sod!

    morning all Well, that went out with a splash rather than a bang didnt it. From an IMBY perspective this cold spell rates 4/10. It just never really delivered for us compared to pretty much the rest of the country. Expectations are high after 2010 but even last Feb tops this for me. Still, Winter is not over yet so I'm putting my faith in Feb! I'm going to enjoy these mild days. I know where the cold has gone..Ive flippin got it in my head achhooooooo sniffle sniffle So I'm going to get rid of this cold and then hoping we have another shot at some Snowy stuff

    Yeah! I hope so too, double helpings next time. There is still quite a fair bit left in my garden and even some still on the roof. I'll make you a snowball

    No I have pictures of him though I guess. Seriously though I really do feel quite sad lol. Kill me now lol

    I'm hoping for snow and not rain. I don't want my snowman to melt he has been with us for nearly a week and he feels like one of the family. Urrgghh tomorrow will be a sad day!

    we're down for heavy snow at 9pm tonight?! I shall expect nothing then not be too disappointed when it doesnt happen. Would love a few more CM's though

    we had a little bit of fluff falling this morning. Plenty of Snow still on the ground and the Snowman is still going strong. I think this is the longest lasting Snowman in the garden!

    I think the oldies are pretty used to the Weather being a suprise ;0) I dont think it bothers them as much either. Back in the day when they had REAL snow... pah these Winters are nothing compared lol
