  5. I don't usually watch daytime tv during the week, as I'm working, but something is bothering me. Is Jeremy Kyle and the guy from The Wright stuff the same person?! They look so similar. Whilst I'm at it this pic of Becks made me laugh as I think he looks quite like Gordon Ramsey.

  13. I saw this in my local newspaper 'The Argus', thought it may be of interest to members living in the Eastbourne area, if it isn't already fully booked! 'Amateur weather forecasters and outdoor sports enthusiasts have been invited to a day-long meteorology course. The Weather Shop in Eastbourne will be running two courses at its base at Sovereign Harbour on Saturday, July 7th from 10.30am to 3.30pm. The cost is £20. For further information call the number given or email info@weatherfront.biz'
  14. Yes, I usually get a headache just before a storm and also that disorientating pressure feeling around my head. Sometimes causes a nauseous feeling too.
  15. A nice little thunderstorm just passed through Brighton to the NE, some brilliant lightning.
  16. I'm enjoying the conversation in here this morning (exciting!) (..and I'd really like to see the rest of your photos lightningfan - great pic)
  17. Oh dear.. trust me, very sorry. I can't edit the post now so maybe someone else can. It should read SD4 2.
  18. Hi Louby Just stopped by as I recognised the pic in your avatar. I recently took a similar one of the same beach huts! Was curious to know if it was Seaford, even though it is so near I have only been there a couple of times and the last time took lots of pics too. The beach huts there look great now they are newly refurbished.
  19. I have really enjoyed reading about your exciting adventures each day. Would have loved to have been there (can't imagine how it must have felt to witness such weather - as well as drive so far! freedom) Looking forward to the videos!
  20. Went through a phase of being terrified of thunderstorms about 6 years ago. It was very strange as storms had never affected me like that in the past and I was always excited by them. Once I knew a storm was approaching I would remove all jewellry, turn all electricity off (if alone I would turn all power off by the trip switch under the stairs!) unplug aerials. I'd also find it difficult to know where to remain at night, I could not sit/sleep under a light or near a socket. Near windows or metal objects - in the end there was nowhere that I felt safe! Also not knowing where was safest, upstairs or down. I would even put my trainers on. Had been known to sit in the wardrobe in the wall (lol). I wanted to try putting headphones on but was worried that this might be dangerous! Continually pacing up and down and fidgety. I was gradually able to sit in the car and watch storms and watch them through the window from my bed at night.
