    It snowed here in Brighton during the night between 2 and 3am! It didn't settle though but I had to get up and go outside for walk in the flurry, unfortunately you wouldn't have known it had snowed upon waking up this morning.

    This happened in Brighton too at around 4.30pm this evening, blizzard like sleet or hail and VERY strong gusts of wind that sounded very frightening, this brief storm only lasted for about 5 mins!

    Wow yes we experienced that here in Brighton at 4.30pm this evening. It lasted only a few minutes and indeed the wind even sounded like a steam train, very scary! Very heavy sleety hail (?). It has now calmed down - temp 4c

    After a sunny and warm morning, the sky suddenly became dark ten minutes ago bringing a heavy hail storm and a couple of booms of thunder, the wind picked up too - lasted a few mintues and now raining.

    Wow the wind has really picked up on this overcast, miserable day here in Brighton ! Lots of whistling noises coming down the corridor @ work~! Andy - Lovely words there about mother nature!
