Hi all! as we are looking for cold think we should concentrate on the short term as at least the models are accurate on this. there is a worrying amount of rainfall expected in Wales tomorrow with the wye, severn & vyrnwy already at breaking point. Bare a thought for those living near to the rivers as out of everyone they need to see the white stuff the most!! as a beginner would love some accurate reading on the short term paterns to rainfall. happy model watching

People in and around the severn worth noting some record water levels have been recorded today in the catchment with more to come.

Not a bad day today. Bit breezy tho. Following the lack of PPN ladt night just had to dump 25 watering cans on the garden Was looking promising for sunday this morning for shropshire but downgrades again by the looks. At the end of the day everyone has luck now and then with these things but recently be in spring, summer, autumn or winter the last decade has been very poor for snow/storms in shropshire. But this is the joys of the british weather i suppose. Thought i would share a pic taken from my home town last night too. (Why did i move lol)

So looks like i will have to water the plants this morning due to lack of rain last night. The closest i got to a storm was next door moving the wheelie bin!!! Once again another massive let down for shropshire. In all honesty why do we always miss out on these events? There has to be a scientific reason because it cant be luck? PPN always slides to the north or east of hear or vanishes and rebuilds in staffordshire/cheshire? Hope everyone who was out side of shropshire enjoyed last nights storm looked great on the radar.
