  3. Managed to get home from work amongst the Cg's, hail and torrential rainfall in time to get the DSLR out and shoot this beatiful display of mammatus in HDR mode. 8. Thats easy Peter, more research needs to go into alternative fuels, i.e ethanol based and hydrogen. Theres always going to be congestion, people will always choose to use their own car instead of dirty/late/crime ridden/expensive public transport.
  9. The term "mini" tornado is misleading, and shouldn't be used. Ask anyone who's had their house ripped apart, their business ruined or worse - injured etc, that the wind that caused it was the most violent winds we get in the UK, but the media call it "mini" I voted no btw
  10. Yes! It was just timing out because your in built firewall on the router was stopping incoming requests to that port. Windows firewall or ZoneAlarm should pop up for you to allow it, but with routers you usually have to select the port manually.
  11. Ok, the port on your router must still be blocked for incoming requests. Find out what port the webcam is streaming too, maybe (8000) and go into your router settings and look for something like Firewall - Virtual servers and add an entry to allow the port that your cams using. Mines a Belkin but you get the idea, i.e
  12. Stick http:// in front of your ip address and post it in this thread. You will bring up your router page if you look.....
  13. The best way to set it up is to have someone else on another pc trying the web address of your cam, which will be your ip address with http:// in front of it. The port that you set the cam up on, i.e 8000 may have to be allowed on your router, but that shouldn't take more than a few mins to do. If you have any problems, post them in this thread and between us we can sort it
