Today in contrast to the last week...thunder and hammering rain....local forecast for 2-5inches of rain overnight... Still 28c and feels like 35c though... Supposedly after tomorrow meant to be hot and dry again... Some huge wave breaking up the beach today too...2-4m!

Am on holiday in vietnam for fortnight and all the locals keep going on about this unusual weather we are having. Its meant to be rainy season but the past four days and the next five or more forcasted, have been hot humid but dry.... Im not complaining but thought it unusual... 32-35c and sunny... 😉

Extremely torrential showers rattling through here...last one had all the trees bending and my fence bowing...

Really blowing outside...fence panel split.... Leaves down everywhere... Getting louder as trees in leaf in guess...satelite cutting out...

Garden furniture piled up in corner of patio and trees being stripped of leaves....its sure blowing out there... Plus its still pummeling it down outside... Garden thoroughly watered...

Very gusty wind....picked up in last hour.... Trees in full sway and fencing bowing with each gust....new met warning out for gusts widely upto 50mph with gusts possibly reaching 60-70mph over pennines....what a difference a day makes....was lovely evening yesterday in manchester...
Edit winds now interfering with satelite signal too....

Rotating cloud heading this way very dark out west....clouds moving east to west and vice versa....lookslike its going to explode out there...very humid wind picking up....lookslike a wall cloud heading this way.... Thunder getting more frequent....

Loud rolling thunder from sw of here very dark due west towards manchester/ stockport.... Going to miss here... Hope it clears up over manchester by this evening meeting friends at piccadilly then going to curry mile...

Normal autumn storm.... Calm down dear... I remember autumns/winter of 90s in iom when we had numerous storms of 60-80mph, with a few winter storms that managed 100-130mph and one in early 90s when 160mph odd recorded in cairngorms...remember sky news with mad graphics on screen...
