  1. I wouldn't be surprised if the Met Office place a amber warning for wind here by tomorrow or Wednesday.
  2. At least some very interesting weather this week with 2 Winter storms have been officially named. Dudley and Eunice.
  3. Only snow we see these days are on the TV/Internet. Snowing in Denver, USA atm: EarthCam - Denver Cam WWW.EARTHCAM.COM Sometimes I wish I live in Colorado, I heard the weather other there is crazy. One day you in a 30C heatwave and the next day sub-zero!!
  4. At this rate as long as this mild, crap weather we having I guarantee you the next Winter will be better. It couldn't be crappier than we have now or the past few weeks. It is just as crap and boring as it is.
  5. I'm actually looking forward to the lively weather in the next few days after the calm crap past few weeks. At least the chances of snow is in the right direction next week maybe.
  6. I don't like the setup atm it is boring. I hope this time next week we will see change. Hoping for colder, changeable weather or a major storm.
  7. Next time for this setup make sure the cold air mass originates from the East/north east then followed by this set-up it be more colder then!! Then everyone will get snow from it. After all the coldest air mass during this time is from Scandinavia/continent.
  8. Fingers crossed for a good hailstorm, it is a good alternative to snow after all, at least for us lowlanders.
  9. This is one of the snow drifts I've mentioned. Not much but it is evident in Chorley. Guessing luck and height makes a difference in this setup.
  10. I guess about 1-2 cms drifts against the walls in chorley but it is mostly melted by now and slushy mess on the pavements leading out of town. If it were a little colder we would've done well out of this.
  11. Just caught the bus to Chorley and it has bit more snow lying on the ground than where I live in Clayton le woods. Crazy!!
  12. Just checked on Ventusky's ICON forecast and it's looking really good for us today! I say Ormskirk eastwards, snow from 12pm to 3pm we could be looking at 3-4 hrs of snow falling.
