    Just been out for a walk and it is absolutely freezing out there!! I can't remember last time this freezing before. Maybe back in 2012-13.

    I guess thats it for the day according to the radar. The showers that going towards us have dissapated. Boooo!!

    The winds are more easterly then that. More towards Scarborough than Whitby.

    Turning sleety here now. The radar seems to gonna clear away.

    Yep the ppn is turning wintry (green) in places on the radar now even on the coast! My smart watch says 3C here. It was 4-5C few hrs ago.

    I gonna bet around 3cm this weekend/next week. I would not expecting much but it did have a few surprises in the past. We'll see.

    Just woken up. I don't know what happened. I guess it either turned to rain here or snow shadow effect have been active from the hills. Ah well. Next event is probably next week.

    Just checked the Met Office forecast for Blackpool and it shows a few heavy snow symbols for some reason.

    I think thats the reason. Sadly. But the wind direction seems to be in favor for snow here. It is a cold direction from the Pennines. Just have to wait and see.

    How do you get eight symbols of snow while Chorley only few miles down the road only get one sleet symbol?! Bizzare.

    The weather front is now bumping into colder air now according to radar. It is showing some greens over S.Wales high ground.

    If I got a time traveling machine, I would use it and time travel back in time to 6th Feb 1996 in Blackpool.

    Friday maybe, could maybe bring a upgrade for us.

    There also warning out for Rain over the Pennines too on Tues and Wed. No surprises there.
