Light snowing here. I just put my hand outside of my window and felt the tiny flakes.

The weather front over the irish Republic is predicted to shift south-eastwards towards south west of england and far south of england. According to BBC weather. It doesnt showed it to shift north-eastwards unfortunely.

Well I wouldnt rule out an odd heavier burst of snow from the pennines. But the straws are still there for me.Oh do cruel!! Just look at that met office forecast maps, misses us on everyone grrrrrrr and to top it all off i have a woman on my forum saying shes snowed in in Cambridge a d its weird as she never normally gets weather like that down there.
Have we not ran out of straws by now!???? Lol

The gritters were still gritting the roads around here. It just wasting it. Why would they do that? Its not even below freezing or snowing here for god sake! Why not they send gritters to the east of our region? People here are just dumb sometimes.
I could complain to the council but nah.

I could laugh at people in Eastern half of UK that got stuck in the snow, villages cut off and traffic jams everywhere. And we dont know what the fuzzies about here.

The BBC weather have me down light snow from midnight then sleet from midday and then rain (wtf
) for a hour 2pm then snow from 3pm to 6pm.patchy snow started here.

I doubt the snow ever make it here in Lancashire.Our Snow is East of Grimsby and heading West.

It must be the Foehn effect. As a consequence of the different adiabatic lapse rates of moist and dry air, the air on the leeward slopes becomes warmer than equivalent elevations on the windward slopes. Winds of this type are called "snow-eaters" for their ability to make snow melt or sublimate rapidly.

about 90% of snow cover here is just melted. This is insane!

It were white here this morning and it is all gone now.
It just arnt thick enough.But at higher ground it is a different story. I doubt it is gonna snow here anyway.

I thought it is above freezing here last night but its not. The snow here isnt melted an mm here. Maybe its because 1. Windchill and 2. No Heat Island effect. Theres still little bit of snow on the garden table and It still there yesterday evening.

BBC forecast showing a thin tongue of snow briefly pushing into Cheshire late tomorrow when the SE snow moves north
Otherwise the Yorkies seem to be keeping it all behind the Pennine barricades.
Still possible for the forecast to go pear-shaped and we'll get a share.
