  2. been a cracking few days, loving the frosty mornings and the sunny daylight. just what was needed after all the disappointment this winter.
  3. well snow started to lie here around 2ish, was washed away before tea time. yet another wasted chance. sick fed up of this want to be winter now.
  4. brief look at charts i think that is a fair shout, my only worry is the feeling we have been here so many times this winter where we look so close. damn shifts are going to make things tricky to follow but all being well, tuesday lunchtime i will be able to focus right on it.
  5. BUS and LSS, as always thanks for taking the time to keep everyone who struggles for time updated. you lads are a godsend.
  6. can't help but feel the way majority of this winter has gone, chasing pots of gold, may have caused fatigue amongst some/many.
  7. no great surprise, all warnings for Scotland tomorrow have been removed from Meto. Monday not updated yet, waiting on it going now.
  8. i find this winter so far and Scotland team go well together. so much promise, good in very small patches but ultimately fail to deliver.
  9. signal is clear though, will still be just one up front no matter how poor the oposition. shame really. nippy out there the night.
  10. feel really bad for those who have missed out yet again. still time for more this winter, dont lose hope.
  11. having seen a neighbour attempt to park and getting no joy, on goes the coat and shovel. out we go clear a bit for some grip. not even a thanks. community spirit my I have a problem. may have to sit with beer in hand watching anyone else struggle. eh?? i said my erse! not my i have a problem.
  12. ** STAGECOACH - URGENT ** ALL Perth City Services are being taken off from 6pm!
  13. I know its only to Luncarty Edo but this has been posted on facebook: Just travelled northbound on A9 from Inveralmond to Bankfoot. Road is treacherous, please take it easy and don't overtake! The snow in the outside lane is building up very quickly.
  14. bad enough for the bus service to the Glens in Craigie to be suspended. shame this didn't happen Monday when we had the potential but its looking good just now. STAGECOACH - PERTH: The services 5 and 6 will not be servicing The Glens Service 7 will not serve Oakbank Road but will divert via Lamberkine Drive on to Glasgow Road
  15. Seems that Perth is not fairing well so far, the exception being Letham. See what the afternoon brings.
  16. very quiet in here considering there is a chance of snow tomorrow even if it will just be a short lived affair before being washed away. i persume most, like myself, are not holding out much hope of seeing anything. sad to say this week has been one big disappointment for many and that may well explain why there is apparent lack of interest.
  17. gutted the way this has panned out for us. so close to something special.
  18. needless to say the attempt to cover pavements failed and we are back to where we started. been a very frustrating day and not convinced its going to change.
  19. this latest burst of heavier snow seems to have finally managed to lie.
  20. radar is fully loaded so be a good while yet.
  21. pavements in craigie starting to turn white now.
  22. in a case like this expect nothing, anything is a bonus, good luck to everyone in the coming 24 hours, hope you all get what you wish for. radar is a waste of time with so many echoes on it, so stick your head out the window/door see whats happening and enjoy.
