the spot is in decay.. even so some scientists are expecting a final farewell from this spot.. its falling appart too rapidly and when this happens there is usually some energy to be released.. the spot did shrink before it let loose its monster flare.. time will tell..

Had a storm SE Sheffield starting about 1930 but it headed off towards Lincs rapidly.. I think most of it passed over Worksop.. Distant flashes to the south of here were continuing until 2230 and the CB stopped dead with interference at 2310.. Paul

As they say.. There is no smoke without fire.. In the years after his body was moved it was apparently very wet and this is where the saying comes from.. As for whether it was wet during the same periods for the previous years we dont know as they didnt bother to hint that... But around that time we were growing grapes in the open as far north as Bedfordshire.. (not that it existed back then).. so was it a time of climate channge?? Love reading this area Mr Data.. S.E. sheffield.. 995 mb falling.. windy!! bin day and blue box day tomorrow.. rubbish blowing everywhere.. LOL.. *has an image of the milkman being slapped in the face by a nappy in his mind* <_< just finished my shift and i had no choice but to drive up the dotted line to leave a buffer zone on sheffield parkway.. and that was with a single deck bus!! had a decker early evening and had to pull over for a few minutes around rother valley park area.. the wind was snatching the steering too much.. its bad out there.. its gusting rather than being a constant force.. if its as bad in the morning.. i would advise everyone to stay indoors.. potty
