  4. I heard a bit rumble of thunder about 20 mins ago in the Siston area. Can see it to my south.

  7. Yep lightning thunder, heavy rain the obligatory emergency services passing on the ring road. Something's been hit.
  8. Yes we are lucky indeed. Quite a forecast from him mentioning "dangerous", not a regular word mentioned with Thunderstorms / Thundery downpours.

  10. Yep we had a thundery shower earlier and that was that. it looked promising as I came back along the M4 this evening as well.

  12. Currently working in Swindon and its wild here in the Hotel, Im only on the first floor. Far worse than the previous storms, must be the wind direction. Lashing it down and blowing a gale right now.

  19. Bit wild out there now and that rain is pretty heavy. I can hear it pounding on the roof. (well its a new house so you can hear a bluetit fart on my roof!)
  20. Interesting day. It started quite calm and sunny as we cleared up the remains of the local firework display from last night. As the morning progressed the wind has got stronger and more cloudy, even the scouts mentioned it to me. Seems slightly quieter now, but looks like it will pick up again soon.
