Nice one Sam, seems like a great tour. May try tour 4 sometime.

So in 6 months time tour 2 will be well under way. I have a feeling the time is really going to drag between now and May! Other than the staff, who else is going to be on tour 1?
-
What Nick said!
leave some for us!
I'm sure there'll be plenty for every tour. With El Nino having the effect on the world weather it is I reckon next year could be a bigee for every tour. Lets hope so anyway! :-)

Only 200 days? Great! Tour 1 for me this year. What do they say about the words early bird and worm? I hope that comes true, although doesn't quite go hand in hand with storm chasing I don't think! :-)
-
I totally agree with the last poster Tom, very entertaining, especially following the life and times of Chicken George :-)

The adrenaline must of been pumping guys! Glad you had a great final days chase, bring on tour 2!
-
It will be interesting to see what the guys do as it's a brutal drive for sure after such a long day yesterday.
-
Good to see the streaming is holding up where you have pulled over near Brownfield. Nice lightning, hope that severe warned storm does the business for you guys.
-
Now the guys are in Lamesa the streaming is working :-)
-
Great streaming in Tuscola, guess you aren't planning on getting cored there as you seem to be out in the clear air now :-)
-
The stream is cutting in and out, good to see they are on the tornado warned storm south-west of Abilene, even if it did involve a drive south.
-
-
Hope you guys have a fun night getting cored by the MCS! :-) Stream nice and clear by the way.
-
Great quality streaming guys, hope it holds up for you and you get the results you are looking for after such a long drive. Will watch again later as things kick off.
-
Glad you guys arrived okay and sampled the best ribs in the world! Hopefully everyone will arrive on time so you can get to where you need to be for Saturday. It's going to be a crazy few days for sure, all the best.

1st Broken Bow No 8. So unique!
2nd Pilger No 3. Amazing tornado pic.
3rd Roswell No 19. Will never forget that mothership barreling towards us!

Some great photos Paul, that supercell at Elk City will live long in the memory.
Just 70 Days To Go until me and Mr M fly out to set everything up with Uncle Tom coming along 1 day later.
Time for some Oklahoma Supercells from seasons 2011 and 2012 to whet the appetite.
Will do 2013 and 2014 Oklahoma Supercells next week

Maybe the low number of watches and warning have been due to a lack of southerly flow therefore warmth and moisture. I've also seen data that shows that the temperature of the Gulf of Mexico at it's lowest point has little effect on the upcoming tornado season. Let's see what happens this year!

Just become severe warned, good work guys :-)
-
Have a great tour 2 guys, it's looking good over the next few days, over the weekend and into next week.
-
Cheers for that. I've ordered on on Amazon which has pretty good reviews and comes with a Deadcat. Wind noise could be a nightmare so have played safe.
-
Hi guys, can anyone recommend a reasonably priced external microphone to go with the Canon 600D. The ability to film during windy conditions using a deadcat is a must :-)
Tour 1, the lead up.

A week today and I arrive. It's looking as if there is a general trend of low pressure out to the west and high to the east bringing up the moisture. While not perfect for a severe weather outbreak, it's not bad either. Bring it on! :-)
