  2. There is an echo of PPN there, maybe explosive developments!!! more sferics there now so something is brewing quiet quick i should imagine,we will see on the next radar return in a minute.
  3. That Cambridge cell is exploding fast with other cells around it now.
  4. Finally caught up on this thread after reading over a dozen pages, crikey just watching that arch of clouds on the sat in the midlands, this area could produce a line of storms from west Birmingham where there is storms now to that cell that has just popped up near Cambridge.
  5. Hey guys and good evening let me start by saying over the years that i have been on this site(and going some years lol)and viewing all the models whether it be close or long range with regards to storms, you can throw em out of the window as they are computer generated and will not be accurate bar the trends that they show in the immediate time scales(that would be on the day)and then they are not completely accurate we await tomorrow to see how developments take us through the day so get some sleep and wake up fresh for tomorrow as this is the first biggy of days i just like to wish you all good luck and as i have said before, some will catch them but most wont if you have a car it's a bonus good luck for tomorrow guys i will catch you tomorrow, good night.
  6. I had to slow that down because it was a blink and miss it affair...
  7. Yep they certainly are, lightningmaps always does this when there is a powerful storm near by such as the one in central France,i always use blitzortung.org any day Lightning & Thunderstorms - United Kingdom, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland WWW.BLITZORTUNG.ORG Blitzortung.org provides lightning and thunderstorm information in real time on maps for USA, United Kingdom, Australia, new Zealand, Europa, Africa, Asia and other... and the more international one which you can zoom in or out. Blitzortung.org - Live Lightning Map MAP.BLITZORTUNG.ORG Blitzortung.org, lightning and thunderstorms in real time
  8. The gfs and ukmo are looking pretty decent the gfs is slowly catching up with the ukmo, the gfs also has more of a cut off low than the 06z.
  9. And first out of the blocks is the ICON... a quiet unsettled run with rain or showers/thunderstorms from time to time and would still feel quiet warm in any sunshine as the source/origin of air is still from the S/SW with the low stalled out west.
  10. Thanks for that @staplehurst yes you can see the trough on the latest UKMO fax chart for 06:00 tomorrow morning here is the latest PPN predictions for tomorrow afternoon/evening from the MO(Met Office) the BBC has these showers/thunderstorms a little more west of the MO's predictions,it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow,i finish work at 2pm tomorrow so i might have to chase west or stay put,we shall see.
  11. Some nice pics of Ac-cas being posted and it just shows that there is instability in the air i took these not long ago say half hour, stunning sunset with some Ac-cas and the blood orange cirrus in the backdrop. i cannot wait for some action and it wont be long now and i am looking forward to all the pics, clips etc through the next several days,as always with storms they are hard to predict and not everyone will get them but them that do will have a good show no doubt
  12. In fact looking at it again there was some people in the car lot when it intensified i hope that they are OK.
  13. stained glass windowing hell that was insane and i hope that there was no fatalities as that was a close call with all those people running.
  14. You are not wrong Tam's Looking at this evenings output it is an upgrade in terms of prolonging the heat now into mid next week with heat low/s trapped in the heat makes for fascinating output to discuss, whats not to like suntan ready:- check waterproof mac ready:- check BBQ ready:- check camera ready:- check bring on those hot temps with the thunderstorms a latest look at the cpc anomaly's... as you where really with what it has been showing over the last few days with +ve heights to our NE west of Scandinavia with -ve heights over Iberia/NW Spain, upper flow SW backing west later although slight differences with surface conditions from last evening with flow from the SE then backing ESE,looking warm to hot first 6-10 days at least and last from me with regards to cloud, temps and PPN,forget it trying to solve this a few days out even by the next day have a good evening
  15. Visible Cg's coming into view now right of the cam.
