  1. Now that is an upgrade, mean lower than -5,if we get that continental feed...... BOOM.

  3. Evening all here are the gfs and ecm charts starting at 240 12z from 30/12/2018 (five days ago) reeling down to todays 12z at 144 hrs and as you can see both of them have the trough cut back further further west when initially they had it sinking into mainland Europe, the ecm obviously the more consistant there,it just goes to show you that you cannot get too carried away in FL gfs 240-144 hrs ecm 240-144 hrs The latest from cpc at days 6-10/8-14 shows the ridge into the pole with backing slightly west in the Atlantic with trough dropping down from the north on the eastern flank of the ridge. De-built ecm ens temps/dewpoints and wind direction shows some interest from the 9th mmm! this is interesting looking at the Iceland and Scandinavia sea level pressure charts(yes they are the gfs and will be subject to change) with more high pressure over Scandi, and lower pressure over Iceland,Scandi block!!! fastinating model watching all the same,i am hooked

  6. Stromboli fairly active tonight. https://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/italia/sicilia/messina/stromboli.html
  7. Is it! Azores high migrating west to allow a notherly if that went further but it doesn't and won't show the FL candy the gfs/gefs shows, that should be a good thing as the models do not have a clue anyway that far out and to be taken with huge piles of... what is interesting regards the jma is that it obliterates the strat to 264.
  8. 8 years ago then, how time flies now we have the ground frozen, bring on the snow we have a strat warming now,we are in a good position, but where will the cold hit? Greece you have had your fair share over the years, now it's our turn.

  13. Hi all on a festive eve the latest outlook from cpc 6-10/8-14 days shows no shift from previous days with hp cell forecasted to ancher over the BI,a holding pattern for the foreseeable with perhaps fog and frost at night under clear conditions but pleasant in the light winds where/if the sun breaks out during the day, lovely for getting out and about to see relatives/friends and to walk off those festive dinners, lovely so,ok we will probably have to endure some beniegn/non discript weather but lets be patient and see what happens, surely enough we will get a cold spell soon enough here is a toast from me to all the netweather team and members and i wish you all a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year see you soon peeps and enjoy what ever the weather, and hope we see plenty of MERRY CHRISTMAS
