    All diminished as it was heading for Shrewsbury yet again, just had a light splattering of annoying rain..grrrr .. Not as humid either now, when will I get a storm, can't see anything else exploding later

    Is it an error on will it rain today radar, but looks as though Holyhead in Anglesey has had a wild time for the past few hours... I'm feeling pretty hopeful for Shrewsbury today, especially now flower show is over.

    Back now, all was looking good over Welshpool about 6.45, puuled in layby, looking up the rotation was impressive, but not one lightening strike, but then when heading back to shrewsbury the heavens opened torrential rain, its now just hitting shrewsbury but no Thunder ,, oh well holiday tomorrow hopwfully catch something in Amroth, Nr Tenby

    Yeahhhhh, its stopped raining, and the sun is trying to pop out, whats the chances of that happening and setting off more showers???????

    Still raining in Shrewsbury dont think its stopped since 7.30 last night,,, heavier rain again now... dont know how the Severn is going to react to all of this rain.. Im off to tenby on Saturday for a week,, hopefully the gods will smile down on me

    4 hours of moderate to heavy rain now, and still stalled over shrewsbury, and growing... im off for the night now, hopefully things dont get to bad around the town..

    Yes its slightly worrying especially with the forecast for the rest of the week , the Severn is running high already...so humid at the moment too

    steady heavy rain for few hours now, seems to be getting heavier, no thunder as yet, garden starting to flood yet again, very still and strange atmosphere, almost waiting for something to happen...

    Depressing lol,,, we dont seem to get anything exciting here no longer, must be at least 4 years since we had a good storm.. just persistant drizzle or grey stuff, so got a bot excited when watching these cells popping up over the top of me, but clamed down now, still very dark though,, Ludlow seems to have a better storm chance

    yes defintely, but I think weve been very lucky regarding flooding so far.... just waiting for a good storm, Im still optimistic we might see a lightning show later tonight, very eerily still here in Sundorne

    Been watching this grow over Shrewsbury for last hour, been pouring for 15mins now, rather heavy, still looking very stormy, almost feels as though its going to go bang any minute.... also got that greeny tinge too it, more to come from the south... please please go bang

    Dont get to excited guys, nothing spectacular from it, plus it divided up as soon as it hit Shrewsbury , really thought I might get a storm out of that stuff over Wales earlier.. Oh well I joined the no storms club last night

    looks pretty awesome from here, but as usual its shot south, god knows why we cant get them here anymore, i remember storms going on for hours when i was a kid, but nothing for years now

    Good luck to all those folk in the South West, I love Polpero but wouldnt want to be there now, hopefully all the holidaymakers are being made aware to the siutation, as some people are NOT weather addicts like us. Fingers crossed for Shrewsbury tomorrow on getting some TS

    Good point lol, perhaps i should wake up before commenting , just so frustrating watching everything avert around Shrewsbury, I blame the scientists in Switzerland for playing with that hadron collider

    Nothing exciting here in Shrewsbury, just steady light rain, am I right in saying that its going to stall and pep up later this morning, as per usual the Welsh Hills are acting as a barrier to us

    As per usual looking at radar and skies it looked quite promising, but just as it approaches Shrewsbury, BAM is breaks up and disipates,,,why oh why does it do this??? Is it because were in a bowl surrounded by the shropshire hills
