    Afternoon each. Lovely here now after a bit of a dismal start. Ah..it's clouding over now. But let's say..sunny intervals then. Hope you're all well and enjoying your Monday. I've been trying to fix a recalcitrant door knob. Thank goodness for WD40, a hammer and a screwdriver.

    Mornin each. Another lovely, sunny day here. Sky is blue and just a fairly brisk breeze. I'm so sorry to hear of LGF's cats and Tamara's upsets. I remember the acute heartache of losing my Oscar just two weeks after joining NW. Even after nearly two years...I still feel an ache and cry for him. Time doesn't heal IMO.. you just learn to cope with it better. My thoughts are with you, LGF. And Tamara. ..I hope things begin to be better for you soon. My very best wishes to you. Ah well...back to painting. Have a good day, folks and enjoy the sunshine.

    Mornin each from a foggy, chilly Ippy. Slight Autumnal feel out there at the moment and temp' is only 1c. Hope sun comes out later...I am going to be busy painting the dining room. The gloomiest room in the new house. Have a good POETS day, folks.

    Mornin each. No fog here as far as I saw but it is another lovely morning. Hazy blue sky and full sunshine. Birds are chirping and singing and getting ready to mate and raise a family. Awwwwww! However...they should be wary....Louie is now climbing the trees. (below) Obviously getting used to the new cat's adventure playground which is the new garden. Have a very good day everyone. Oh bu***r...its on it's side. Sorry.

    What a lovely afternoon its been here. It reminds me of this time of the year in 1976, then we had that long, hot, save-water-bath-with-a-friend summer. Bet I've put the mockers on it now. :O Hope you're all enjoying the sun.

    Managed to 'persuade' one of the cats to use the cat flap earlier by 'posting' her through it. :-D They've never used one before so that's a good start. Beeeeautiful sunshine here so going to take Nipper to the the park (just at the end of street) later and see if there's anything worth photographing.

    Mornin each. It's a lovely morning here. Very little breeze and a milky blue sky. I was up at 5:30 and it was such a treat to hear the soft, melodious fluting of a Blackbird. Didn't have many garden birds in old place, only gulls and although I miss their raucous racket, I love hearing our other feathered friends. Hope you all have a good day and can enjoy the early Spring sunshine.

    Evening each. It's been a lovely day here after a slightly gloomy start. Bit chilly now, mind. Re' above posts. I hope people are not going to have to feel as though they are walking on egg shells when posting. There seems to be an awful lot of tension about on what used to be a very friendly, happy-go-lucky forum and which was a joy to visit. People leaving, getting angry and stressed, and some nasty, sarcastic remarks have been posted. This is a weather forum, and I, and I'm sure many others, would like to see it return to how it was when I first joined nearly two years ago. Otherwise, I fear more people will leave and that would not be nice.

    "Just been to shop and brrrr!Its turned a bit chilly after another lovely early spring day. Had a strange sort of day; Nipper lost her favourite stuffed doggy in town....the loo has a leak...the tooth brush holder smashed in the basin...and then the real brahmer; my niece dropped her bank card between the floor boards. If she'd aimed it she couldn't have done that. :O If anyone is considering renting a place...don't use JSM Agents. They are rubbish. We've found all sorts of things wrong that should have been put right before anyone moved in. Very bad practice. Have a good evening all.

    Mornin each. Another beautiful day in Ippy. We even sat in the garden first thing listening to the birds. It's a lovely garden, and there are lots of trees in this neighbourhood. Something which was sadly lacking in Virginia Street. Have a good day, everyone.

    Just been for a look around Linda's new house. It's lovely with bags of old character and a nice garden. Can anyone identify this tree. On a weather note, it's been sunny and quite warm, but clouds are gathering.

    Poor croc. Bet the python felt a tad bloated after that big lunch. Nature is wonderful but so cruel sometimes. :O I always feel story for the conquered animal.
