I’ve been peeking in there this afternoon and it doesn’t make good reading. As for the radar just zoom in so you can’t see that area then you won’t know any different.

Are the 12z runs so far that bad that no ones posted in the MAD thread for 40 minutes?

Wasn’t a pleasant sight looking in there earlier. Probably best to avoid all the northern regionals tonight and tomorrow.

Maybe but it’s 8.2°C here so you might not be far off. Doesn’t feel like that with the wind though.

Yes not a single air frost here either and not many ground frosts for that matter. It’s strange as it hasn’t been a particularly mild month so far but it hasn’t managed to get below freezing at night.

As expected, nothing here last night apart from a bit of sleet yesterday evening. Cool and mostly sunny so far today although a bit more cloud coming over now. Just been catching up with everything and our wind warnings been removed and there’s now an amber warning for snow in some areas up north.

Well I've seen something wintery even if it wasn't snow. More interesting was the temperature drop once the shower came over,

Still falling as sleet here. Since it started the temperatures dropped from 3.1°C to 2.3°C in about 15 minutes.

Suddenly got quite windy and sleet now instead of rain.

Raining here although not very heavily which is probably why it's only rain.

Nothing here at the moment but the temperatures got stuck at 3.8°C so probably too high anyway. I'm still in it.

Just started dropping here, was hovering between 4.8°C and 5.0°C about 30 minutes ago but now it's down to 4.4°C.

I better start looking out then, too exciting to miss.

At the moment everything to the north of here is intensifying while everything coming towards me is doing the opposite.
