NO - where is it located on the netweather radar ?

I think an important omission from the radar is cloud breaks when there is no precipitation the radar is blank which is fine - but there is no way of telling of telling if there are cloudy skies or cloud breaks In the same way that on the BBC forecasts you can tell that there are overcast skies, cloud breaks and sunny intervals or unbroken sunshine from the different shading of brown and yellow It would be good to have this as an extra feature - but I guess the problem how this data could be obtained and uploaded realtime - just as in the same way the rainfall radar data is from the met office

This is a great feature on the netweather radar to see precipitation in relation to towns - but the map needs updating with major towns and cities -small places appear but not major locations For example - zooming in the West Midlands - Birmingham appears but there is no Dudley or Wolverhampton Villages like Hagley and Burntwood appear If the map could possibly be upgraded to include more major towns and cities and fewer villages - it would be very useful as at the moment there is a very uneven distribution of towns with major omissions and a lot of blank space as well with just a network of roads Hope you understand this Thanks

As it seems likely there is a bug in the browser - can you suggest a browser that I can try that supports all the features of the netweather radar ? Thanks Edit - geo location works fine on Chrome browser

Still having problems in getting this to work I have the Firefox beta browser installed The location icon is green and on for my phone In about:config for my browser for the Firefox beta browser, geo.enabled is set to true After doing this and refreshing the browser and then pressing the geo-tracker button, I get an error message:- The page at http://www.netweather.tv says: Sorry we are unable to get coordinates from your browser - please switch on the Geo-Location option The geo location option is switched on within the phone and for the browser - but the facility of geo tracking does not work after this Thanks Sriram

On a samsung galaxy j5 When I run my finger down from the top so that location icon is green (where WiFi vibrate screen rotation and Bluetooth is located) and then select the geo location button from the radar - I get an error message - and tells me to select location which I have already done Error message is sorry we are unable to get the coordinates from the browser please select the geo location option Browser is Mozilla firefox Thanks

Does anyone have a Stevenson Screen for their weather sensor ? My question - is it worthwhile using it in say a back garden in a built up area - and will it make much difference to say temp measurement in a shaded spot on a north facing fence ? Is it the location of where you that is the determining factor of accurate temperature measurement - regardless of whether you have a stevenson screen or not Thanks Sriram

I have 2 weather stations - Climemet and Oregon scientific Both sensors are in the same location I am finding the Climemet has higher temp values than the Oregon scientific The Oregon scientific seems to be more accurate than the Climemet when comparing against local stations in my area - in particular the max temps and current temps The Climet has a facility to calibrate temps Is it safe to calibrate the Climemet against the Oregon scientific -or am I just going to increase errors doing this If calibration is safe - how do I do it ? I guess just zooming out of the standard UK v7 radar gives the European radar - there is no separate link or button for it

On the v7 radar that includes Europe - how much of Europe is included currently showing lightning strikes NW of Paris with a band of rain but not much precip across mainland europe

Thanks - I have logged out and logged back in and I get a message that my subscription ends on 15 June 2016 at 6.33 am I guess at this time I will be automatically directed to the subscription renewal page after this time when I log in - the only thing I am not sure is what is the exact name of the subscription that I renew when it runs out

What does NNM stand for - so I guess its just a guide to various parameters and NOT actual measurements for temperature air pressure and wind gusts etc

What do the colours of the temperature profile of the NNM map actually mean ? and the wind gusts and air pressure NNM maps ?

thanks - are the temperature profile maps generated from temperatures at the time from weather recording stations. I have started an individual thread which I have started under the heading "help support and feedback" - it seems strange that regional variations can go so far from being +5 on the temp profile map to -2 that I have measured at the same time !

NMM overlays menu on radar then selecting temperature which brings the temperature profile colour map ( this menu has option to select wind gust and air pressure )

The real net weather radar is really good but shows the radar 10 mins ago is the technology possible to show real-time radar information which will be even more useful ? Thanks

working fine on samsung galaxy s3 mini - but cannot really see the difference between this radar and the old one - even when I zoom in. If someone can point me in the right direction of what the USP of this radar compared with the old one is I would be grateful

I have noticed this is happening frequently My mobile phone is a Samsung galaxy ace S3 mini with android version 4.1.2 I have Firefox browser installed to view the radar Quite often the radar does not work at all outside when accessing 3G or H connections Even at home after rebooting the phone no radar works when on Wi if broadband connection But if I delete Firefox and re-install everything works again fine What could be causing this - and what is the best browser to use for netweather radar and it's features Thanks sriram
