Missed all the action here, though most of the region did too.
I've noticed that Manchester seems to get much more storm activity than Birmingham nowadays.

Back again for another year.

Yesterday was like a November day, today is like a December day. Rotten for May.
But there is hope in the forecast.

Diabolical conditions today, even worse than yesterday. Thankfully, the forecast shows much more sunshine and warmth in the coming week.
-
Very poor day here. 14C and overcast, not even a glimpse of sunshine. Thought there might be some thunderstorms this afternoon, but don't see it happening with such extensive cloud cover.

Today is what it's all about. More sunshine than cloud and a reasonable temperature. A good end to what has otherwise been a dreary month.
Can't say the start of May looks particularly inspiring though, plenty of cloud in the forecast.
-
Looks like the cloud has already rolled in, and the forecast changed to light rain all afternoon. Not a good start to the week.

Another relatively sunny start to the day but no doubt the cloud will start to roll in by midday - can already see it building on the satellite.

One of the nicest days of the year today, plenty of warm-ish sunshine.
Tomorrow looks grim though.

Was supposed to be sunny here but instead it's overcast...

Really hope this is the last week of this relentless gloom, days like today just suck.

A really dull and wet start to the month here (continuing from what has already been a duller-than-average February and March).
-
Just a few nuisance showers here.
-
Bit of a rubbish Easter weather-wise, very dull (pretty much overcast all day) and only a top temperature of 11C. Despite tomorrow being showery, it should be sunnier, which is arguably better than a full day of miserable skies.
-
With the exception of the odd sunny day here and there, this has been another dire month overall. Recorded 90mm rain here (so far), making it even wetter than last March, and this is following on from the wettest February of all time. No sign of much improvement for the foreseeable future either.
-
I remember Atlantic 252 Actually tomorrow afternoon doesn't look too bad after the morning rain passes, still showery but at least not relentlessly overcast.

Only 28 hours of sunshine recorded so far this month here. None today. Truly abysmal.

Atrocious day yesterday, and such limited sunshine in the forecast. Nothing much to be enthusiastic about really (as has been the case for much of this winter), other than the increasing daylight.
-
Honestly wish it would just stop raining now, we've already had 155mm of rain last month, which is almost four times the average for February.

Last year only 8mm of rain fell throughout the whole month, this year almost 150mm has fallen! This may be the wettest February on record here, and also one of the mildest.

Turning out to be a very wet month indeed, already almost twice the February average rainfall has fallen here, and we're barely halfway through the month!
-
Almost 40mm of rain yesterday making it the wettest day in some time...

Exceptional rainfall totals here in Warwickshire, around 60mm in the last 24 hours, and still a bit more to come. Surprised the flooding isn't worse actually, with a whole month's worth of rain falling in just one day.
