    I can remember being in a cottage on holiday in Brixham, Devon, must have been either 2005 or 2006, huge thunderstorm woke us up at around 07:00, crazy lightning and loud thunder! Thats the only one i can remember

    Reports of severe disruption up in the usual places around Buxton, huge drifts building up on roads etc. Certainly a memorable cold snap, now around 16/17cm of snow here and we have some huge icicles hanging from the gutters, brilliant to see

    More snow falling here, probably up to 6 inches now settled. Freezing cold wind and snow blowing everywhere, the best snow since 2014 and the best cold since 2013.

    Well today is the best snow we've had since Boxing day 2014, not bad after what was a disappointing day yesterday Temperature is still at an unbelievable -5.0 so its not going anywhere fast, potential for more snow over the coming days aswell!
