  1. Looks like a streamer of snow heading this way now, usual high spots in the Peak District could see some decent accumulations looking at the radar

  3. Looking favourable for the usual hotspots (Buxton) Lets hope some of us lower down can see abit of snow too!

  5. Still coming down here all be it lighter now, got abit of a covering and looks like some more could be on its way
  6. Coming down nicely here, fairly big flakes and settling on cars and roads
  7. Is Buxton possibly the snowiest town in Britain? i cant think of many towns of that size that get as much snow as Buxton does
  8. Rain/Sleet here with a few big flakes mixed in, not got enough altitude for snow!
  9. I keep feeling disappointed with the models but then i remember last winter, it took a while for us get the Easterly, but it happened eventually and boy did it deliver
  10. Had a bit of a break from checking Netweather recently as we've had some pretty bog standard autumnal weather, nice to come back on and see some lovely cold charts!
  11. Josh Morgerman on twitter proclaiming Michael to be one of the nastiest and scariest hurricanes he's been in, bare in mind that this guy has experienced probably every single notable hurricane of the last decade or 2 and even travelled to the Philippines to intercept Mangkut last month
  12. Any word from Brett Adair? Michael now apparently the 3rd strongest to make US landfall, anyone know the 2 that were stronger?
  13. Well that was fun, plenty of flooding here now after that squall passed over
  14. Stronger gusts buffeting the car now, I've taken refuge from the monsoon underneath the local Tesco
  15. Monsoon like conditions here, extremely heavy rain, surface flooding everywhere, not particularly windy yet though

  17. Very heavy rain here, already plenty of reports of localised flooding, wind picking up and it's very dark out
