Turning the heating on in AUGUST is unthinkable. It's warm enough down here (Brighton, East Sussex) at the moment.

 

Think I'll wait until at least October.

Some of the Journalists at the Express should be shot - funny how they keep going to Jonathan Powell and James Madden who always seem to 'offer' completely OTT forecasts that they 'want' to hear! Sorry probably a bit off topic.

I'm ashamed to say that my heating was switched on tonight. 11C is the lowest temperature forecast this evening. I am right on Brighton and Hove seafront though so windchill is a major factor.

We, as an organization have made silent predictions on what Winter/Spring will bring, however I've been looking on the net for long range forecasts and most of them tell different stories. So, I thought I'd join this online community and seek thoughts on 2012/13 snowfall. Maybe we can keep this thread going until March 2013...?
